Due to personal reasons, I took a small hiatus. Now I am back offering my services as a qualified social worker to you. I offer three different services in hopes to meet your needs.

1. Social Worker: I come with 15 years experience as a case manager in both child protection and youth justice. I can work with both adolescents and adults. A quick snapshot, I can assist you with identifying appropriate goals and suppprting you to achieve them as well as advocating for appropriate services to best support you.
2. If you are wanting to take some control of your plan and hire support workers or allied health. I can work alongside you, consult with you on how best to go about this. I have lived experience in this area and today I continue to manage a family members care team, including the rostering of shifts.
3. This service is more aimed at Social Workers who are seeking an external supervisor. Whether you are a student or currently practising it doesn't matter. I have supervised a number of social workers in a variety of different settings.

✨️✨️ Social Worker Available ✨️✨️

As a qualified social worker, I come with compassion and understanding through lived experience, with a family member on NDIS, who I recently supported through a crisis. I also have 15 years experience working with adolescents in both CP and YJ.

I can assist the NDIS participant and their family member to navigate and understand the NDIS system. Regardless if your plan is new, or you're mid way through, or it's coming up for a review. I can help you identify personalised goals which can assist you to make the most out of your plan. I am also here to help advocate on your behalf to ensure that the right services are in place for you and working with you to achieve your goals.

I specialise working with participants who have autism and intellectual disability of all ages. Along with children who have learning disabilities. It does not matter if the participant does not meet this criteria, please still reach out to discuss your needs and see if we would be a great fit to info@purplemyst.com.au

About Us:

Purple Myst has been in operation since August 2022. As the operator of Purple Myst I come from a Social Work background, of over 10 years experience working with vulnerable young people. I understand how systems work and the red tape that needs to be cut through to get the appropriate supports required.
Purple Myst will stay a small provider so that in the beginning we are able to meet with NDIS participants and/ or families one to one, to gain further understanding of their needs and goals. We will also identify if there are any other support services which are required. Our team of support workers will then support the NDIS participant either in their home or community, or both, whilst working towards achieving their goals.
