That rainbow snack? It’s not what you think 🌈🚫
Most of those bright colours are synthetic dyes linked to hyperactivity, allergies, and gut issues.
Our food doesn’t need to glow to be good for us — nature already nailed the colour palette 💚

Eat colours from plants, not packets.

👉 Swap out:

Coloured lollies → for fresh fruit 🍓

Bright cereals → for oats with berries

Neon drinks → for fruit-infused water 💧

Keep your plate colourful — naturally! 🌿

✨ 5 Simple Ways to Support Hormone Balance ✨

Your hormones play a huge role in energy, mood, skin, and overall wellbeing 🌸.
When they’re out of sync, your body tells you — but small daily shifts can make a big difference:

🌱 Nourish with whole foods (think leafy greens, healthy fats & protein)
😴 Prioritize quality sleep
💧 Stay hydrated
🏃‍♀️ Move your body daily

"Crunchy kale chips, golden pan-seared salmon, and a fresh tabbouleh salad – wholesome, colourful, and packed with goodness 🥗🐟💚

Kale is a true superfood – rich in vitamins A, C & K, antioxidants, and fibre. It supports immunity, bone strength, and digestion, promotes healthy skin, aids detoxification, helps reduce inflammation, and even supports heart health – all while keeping you full and energised!"

Just 15 seconds a day, right next to my little one! 💪✨ C-section recovery takes time, but every small move counts.
While he plays, mama slays — one breath, one rep, one day at a time.

Mommy thumb (also called De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis) is a painful condition affecting the tendons on the thumb side of your wrist. It's commonly seen in new mothers due to the repetitive lifting and holding of a baby, especially with the wrist in awkward positions during feeding or carrying.

Causes:

-Repetitive wrist/thumb motion (lifting baby under the arms, holding during breastfeeding, diaper changes)

-Hormonal changes in pregnancy/postpartum

-Fluid retention and swelling after childbirth

Symptoms:

-Pain/swelling near the base of the thumb or wrist

-Pain when gripping, lifting, or twisting the wrist

-Difficulty holding or pinching objects

-Pain that may travel up the forearm

-A “catching” or “snapping” sensation when moving the thumb.

Treatment Options:

🧤 Home Care & Lifestyle Changes

-Rest the thumb/wrist: Avoid repetitive motions, especially with poor wrist posture.

-Use a thumb splint (thumb spica brace): Keeps the thumb immobilized and relieves pressure.

-Ice application: 15–20 minutes a few times a day to reduce swelling.

-Modify baby handling: Lift using your forearm and entire hand rather than just the thumb and wrist.

💊 Medical Treatments - ONLY TO BE TAKEN AFTER CONSULTING A HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL

NSAIDs (like ibuprofen or naproxen): Reduce inflammation and relieve pain.

Corticosteroid injections: Can provide significant relief if symptoms persist.

Physical/occupational therapy: Teaches wrist-strengthening and posture correction exercises.

🏥 Surgical Treatment (if severe)

Outpatient procedure to release the tendon sheath and allow freer movement.

Prevention Tips:

-Alternate arms while holding the baby.

-Use proper ergonomics when nursing or lifting.

-Stretch and strengthen your wrists regularly.

-Take breaks if you’re doing repetitive motions.
