Is traditional carpal tunnel surgery my only option?

The answer is no.

At Micro Invasive Clinic, we offer the Hebbard Carpal Tunnel Tech™. It is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anaesthetic. There is no hospital stay.

The procedure is ultrasound guided, which means there is less disruption to surrounding tissue. This often means much less discomfort and shorter downtime.

Most patients return to light daily activities within days, and full recovery time depends on your symptoms and type of work.

If you are exploring carpal tunnel treatment, our team is here to help.

What should I expect after a carpal tunnel procedure?

This is a common question we hear at Micro Invasive Clinic.

The Hebbard Carpal Tunnel Tech™ procedure is performed under local anaesthetic.
You are awake during the procedure, but your hand(s) is numb.

The procedure is done in our clinic, and each hand usually takes around 20 to 30 minutes. You can go home shortly after it is finished.

After the procedure, you will have a soft bandage on your hand(s). with a small waterproof dressing underneath. This can usually be removed after a few hours.

Most patients return to light daily activities within a few days. Heavier work or repetitive hand use may take longer, but recovery time depends on your work and symptoms.

If you have questions about carpal tunnel treatment or recovery, our team is here to help.

We are often asked whether carpal tunnel surgery is risky.

Risk is closely linked to technique and visibility. Traditional approaches are performed with limited visual guidance, which means important structures sit very close together.

Ultrasound guidance allows the nerve and surrounding structures to be seen in real time. Clear visibility supports more precise decision making during treatment.

This is why technique and experience matter.
