Hello Everyone
Today I want to discuss my thoughts around Emotions
With everything going on in the world today and everyone being restricted to their homes, a lot of people are dealing with a whole range of emotions and do not always understand or know what to do with them. Understanding what is going on for you right now can remove a lot of the angst.

The Kübler-Ross model
1 DENIAL - Avoidance, Confusion, Elation, Shock, Fear
2 ANGER - Frustration, Irritation, Anxiety
3 DEPRESSION - Overwhelmed, helplessness, Hostility, Fight
4 BARGAINING - Struggle to find Meaning, Reaching out to others, Telling one's story
5 ACCEPTANCE - Exploring options, new plan in place, moving on

You may ask what grief? We are grieving the loss of an old lifestyle and the fact that even when the restrictions are over, we will never completely return to where we were over a month ago.
At present we are grieving the loss of freedom of movement, social interaction like physical connection, connections with friends, Concerts, public gatherings, etc. Mentally a lot of people are hanging onto the picture of this and are suffering and struggling to let go of “what should be, the way it was”. They are not able to be in the presence and do what needs to be done to see down the line into the future, they fully believe that it will all go back to how it was. But this can never be, and we will be impacted in unknown ways for e.g. how we socially interact, economically regarding money and how we share vital resources of food and other items, how we conduct business and trade. You will find that pre COVID19 the world was getting very global regarding economics but after this, we will most probably find that we will be more focused on being localized for the resources. International travel will take some time to recover etc.
We need to get used to being uncertain, accepting that our new normal will be the unknown. This can be very scary for a lot of people who are still in the grief stages of denial, anger, and depression. These emotions can also be triggering similar unresolved emotions from the past which also compounds how you are feeling.
With the restrictions and isolation, many are finding that they have to look inwards to find resources to cope as their external mechanisms are no longer available, this can be scary and so they resort to binge-watching tv channels, drinking, emotional eating, etc, but it does not have to be this way you do not have to feel so alone. Coaching and Hypnosis are great tools to help you through this journey. Hypnosis can help with anxiety, fear, depression, and coaching can assist with those as well and with moving out of the grief cycle to Acceptance and with new resources to moving forward. Please reach out guys, this is not one of the times to be doing it tough and just push through. We are all in this together and together we can move forward to a better and exciting future, a new adventure has just begun – a hero’s journey. You have been called to action – take up the call.

Hi Everyone

Why is it important to get coaching? There is not anyone that I know of including myself who cannot benefit from coaching from time to time. We all have stuff that we need to deal with at some point. It is part of how we grow and evolve as individuals. Right now, in these uncertain times, many triggers are being set off which are causing feelings to surface from our unconscious mind. It is vital that you don’t try to suppress the feelings that are coming up for you, but acknowledge them as they are giving you a message, just know that you don’t have to sit in fear and anxiety and sadness, that you can process it and get to a place of feeling safe.
You may find that there is a voice in your head telling you to turn to external substances as they distract you from the uncomfortable feelings. It may be tempting you with food, alcohol, procrastination. Don’t give in to that voice, use this amazing time that you find yourself with to work on how to manage the mind and that voice. Coaching can help with this. You cannot control what is happening in the world but what you can control is how you are reacting, thinking and feeling.
Now is the time to dig in, learn and make yourself mentally stronger.
Remember to connect with someone every day and smile, its free and can brighten up someone’s life, even if they cannot see you they can hear it in your voice.

Hello Everyone

The world has gone nuts. You are finding that a lot of people around you are acting as experts on COVID19. A lot of them are hoarding toilet paper, so they can at least have clean bums. A lot of them have become economy experts and are adding to the panic.

I am no expert, just an average joe like the rest of you. But here is what I do know. A high level of stress can add to lowering your immunity system making you susceptible to any bug that is floating around. Stress affects the body in the following areas - High blood pressure, changes in heart rates, poor digestions, an increase in weight, changes to gastrointestinal functions, an increase in mood swings and the ability to cope with everyday things. It lowers your immunity system.

So here is some common sense advise
:
Only listen to the world health organization (WHO) and turn off the blinking news. It's The News Companies' objective to over sensualize everything to keep you hooked on their business. Do your own investigations into the truth.

Trust your intellect and stop listening to the gossipmonger, ask intelligent questions and do your own research.

Follow all general good hygiene advice

Don't give up on your business and the local business around you. Support one another no matter how small you think the support is.

Remember to take care of your health - Find ways to handle the stress, especially the mindset. Your brain is amazing at listening to you and giving you what it thinks you want.

Step-up and be a leader for all the children and show them how to cope with change and how to face challenges with grace and dignity. Not to fear change but to embrace it, be flexible.

Reach out to someone every day even if you don't think you need it, They do

I apologize, it has been so long since I last posted on this page, however, I am now back after having been on my own journey and transformation.

One of the things that have become abundantly clear for me is that you are what you believe, whether it is consciously or unconsciously. Interestingly when I was doing the Rapid Transformation Therapy Course with Maris Peer she mentioned that when we grow up we play one of 4 roles in the family dynamic, especially if you do not feel on some level that you belong, are not accepted, or connected in any way. The four roles are
1. you are the sick one - By being the sick one your needs are meet in that you get attention, feel loved or noticed and have a sense that the illness makes you feel significant. You get looked after
2) You are a brilliant successful one. you are driven to be the best at what you do whether in sports, school, work. You are indispensable to the "tribe" they need you and love you for being so strong. eg workaholics.
3 you are the Carer. you make the meals, tidy up, you are the helpful one. You feel that they may not like you for who you are but you are indispensable by giving and by been needed. Often these people turn out as nurses, therapists, etc.
4) the difficult one - the one that banged your spoon for 2 hours to get attention who was the obstinate child that everyone felt was hard to deal with. You got to feel significant by taking the power for yourself to have the control.

It was an aha moment for me to realize that I was often playing the role of 1 and 3. Being a twin and having to compete for attention. I was often looked at as the weaker one and learned and acquired a belief that if I was sick I would get the attention. This belief was such a deep belief that it was running subconsciously and I believe that the subconscious would often instruct the body accordingly. As I look back over my life I noticed how often this pattern would appear. I also noticed that I learned to be number 3 by observing the females in my family. They all became nurses except for me but I did feel the need to constantly be the peacemaker the rescuer. I felt that I could only be loved if I helped to fix things for people.

Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with being sick it happens, or good at what you do, or being a carer but one has to question the motive behind why you do what you do and what is the gain that you get from doing that or having that belief. especially if it is not empowering you.

What is it YOU believe and how does that belief affect your life?
Remember no thought lives in your head rent-free. Each thought you have will either be an investment or a cost. It will either move you towards happiness and success or away from it. it will either empower you or disempower you.
