WARNING - To everyone who gets 'home help' through NDIS (who go through Uniting) WATCH IT. RSPCA is closely linked with the org, they use them as observers. If you have ANY record with RSPCA, they use these people to report on any animal you have so they can appear, terrify you and steal your animal (RSPCA are so desperate they'll even break laws to steal animals, while claiming they're bound by laws, see the contradiction?)

People, we still exist. I've been moving to a less suitable home because of an RSPCA spy. I've reported her to the NDIS so that's good but it's taking ages to settle here. The spy left ALL my pet stuff, including my cat enclosure, my specially made dog crate and my cat trays and cat post (It was like a taller coffee table, perfect height for me and my coffee wouldn't slide off it!
I AM still doing travelling visits to people, the mail is still going missing, so until I can get a new PO Box we'll just have to live with it.

I hope all our clients are good with this...hoping to set up with individual meet ups as soon as possible.

A psychiatric assistance dog (PAD) is a service dog that is trained to assist its owner who has been diagnosed with a mental health condition such as PTSD, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder. Little is known about PAD usage. Hence, owners registered with the charity ‘mindDog.....

People both from the general public but even in government offices quite often get the difference between assistance dogs, therapy dogs and companion dogs mixed up...take a look and help us spread the word what the differences are!

(inspired by a graphic from AngelPawsTherapy in the US this is the Australian comparison)

Oh yes...and WHAT does RSPCA promote???

Oh yes...and WHAT does RSPCA promote???

There's a cottage industry of scam “service dog” providers in the U.S. “We've got fraud going on at all kinds of levels here,” says law professor David Favre.

The RSPCA obviously don't understand this.

The RSPCA obviously don't understand this.

It's becoming increasingly common to see animals of all varieties in public places -- cats and birds on airplanes accompanying their owners, or dogs and miniature horses in hospitals, nursing homes and other care facilities providing comfort to patients.
