I don’t take this work lightly.

Whether someone comes along to a Monday or Tuesday night meditation (link in link tree)
or has an online session or sits with me one-on-one,
my focus is always the same:

Create a space where the system can settle,
the mind can step back from its stories,
and the body can finally catch up.

What people often notice first is the calm.
Better sleep.
Less tension.
A sense of clarity instead of noise.

What happens over time is quieter, useful and deeper.
Old patterns soften or disappear completely
Reactions change to considered responses
Life feels a little more manageable.

I only offer work I trust and have used myself.
And I’m grateful every time someone takes the time to share their experience.

The last couple of weeks in clinic and online with interstate clients have been… human. Real. Brave. And quietly powerful.
I've supported several humans changing their relationship with alcohol (no drama, no labels, just clarity and choice).
Held space for grief, the kind you don’t “move on” from, you learn to carry differently.
Worked with other addictions where the goal isn’t perfection, it’s freedom.
Helped people finally get some sleep (turns out the brain loves a clear plan and a calm body).
I’ve sat with people breaking nail biting habits (tiny behaviour, big nervous system win).
Navigated relationships and communication, fewer blow-ups, more actual words.
And yes… plenty of “I need a new direction in my life” conversations. The honest kind.

Different stories. Same theme:
People realising they’re not broken, they’re just running old patterns on a tired nervous system.

No fixing. No forcing.
Just learning how to interrupt what’s not working and build something that does.

And honestly? Watching that “aha” moment when the light goes on 💡it never gets old.
This work is a privilege. And a front-row seat to change.

🍋 Real talk from last nights meditation…

I slightly mangled my wording during the lemon exercise and asked the wrong question.
Cue blank faces. Cue laughter. Cue me thinking, well that landed awkwardly 😅

Turns out. plenty of you did get the classic saliva / tingly response… you just didn’t put your hand up.
So yes, the exercise works.
And no, I didn’t spiral into “I’m hopeless” which is kind of the whole point.

Noticing. Laughing. Adjusting. Moving on.

This is where we meet every Tuesday 6.15pm for
Guided Hypnotic Meditation.
Mats laid out, doors open to the grass, the ocean just over the hill.

The work here is gentle and practical.
Settling the nervous system.
Easing mental overload.
Creating space to let go of patterns that don’t need to run the show anymore.

Nothing to perform.
Nothing to get “right.”
Just time to slow down, reset, and leave feeling steadier
with a mind health strategy or 2 in your back pocket.

All while the ocean sounds whisper and the salty air enhances the experience.

There are two things that trip us up:

1. What we don’t know 🤔

2. What we think we know, but don’t🫣

Most stress, anxiety, rumination etc
isn’t coming from what’s happening.

It’s coming from the stories we tell ourselves
about ourselves and about other people.
Often without evidence and sometimes our body reacts as if those stories are facts.

When those stories soften,
the system settles.

This is what our work Christmas party looks like.
Beach. Bare feet. Big ideas. Zero spreadsheets.

Lauren brings the physical + grounding
strength, fascia, movement, rope flow.

This workshop is about moving, grounding, releasing and switching off the noise, without trying to be anything it’s not.

No forcing.
No silence Olympics.
No spiritual gymnastics.

Change the pattern 💛

Go 24 hours without complaining. Not even once.
No sighs. No eye-rolls. No “this always happens to me.”
Just one full day.

At first, it sounds easy, until you actually try it.

You’ll catch yourself about to complain about traffic, work, money, people, the weather, your body, your past, your responsibilities. Complaining has become so automatic that we barely notice we’re doing it. It slips out in conversations, in texts, in our thoughts. It feels harmless, even justified.

But here’s the truth: complaining trains your mind to look for what’s wrong.

When you complain, you tell your brain, “Focus on the problem.”
When you stop complaining, your brain starts asking a different question: “What can I do about this?”

That’s where the change begins.

For 24 hours, instead of complaining:

1. You become more aware of your words.

2. You become more responsible for your reactions.

3. You stop giving away your power to things you can’t control.

You’ll notice something strange happen. The same problems may still exist, but they won’t feel as heavy. Your stress level drops. Your patience grows. Your conversations become calmer. Your energy shifts.

Because complaining doesn’t solve problems, action does.
Complaining doesn’t heal wounds, awareness does.
Complaining doesn’t change your life, discipline does.

And the most powerful part?
When you stop complaining, you start appreciating.

You notice the small wins.
You notice the lessons.
You notice how much you already have.

This isn’t about pretending everything is perfect. Life is hard. People disappoint. Things go wrong. This is about choosing not to live in a constant state of frustration and victimhood.

Try it for 24 hours.
Just one day.

If you slip, start again.
No guilt. No excuses.

Because once you realize how much complaining was holding you back, you won’t want to go back.

My Story

Hey there, I love being in charge of my own destiny, choosing how much I earn and when I earn it. I love a challenge, adventure and spontaneity. Not much gets in my way when I decide to do something. Like walking on fire in 2017 at Tony Robbins UPW or running forward down the side of a building just because I can. I’m on journey of natural health and discovery, doing what I can, when I can, via the healing power of nature. I’ve recently discovered I love science and am studying for the first time in my life, Health Science at The Southern School Of Natural Therapies. My plan is to empower people with knowledge & choice, to inspire curiosity and be a shining example that anyone can achieve anything if they truly believe and take action.
