SYP clients! Please be aware of the upcoming roadworks between Yorketown and Edithburgh starting next week. Allow for some extra time when coming in to your appointments!

Road Works – St Vincent Highway (Yorketown to Edithburgh)
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has secured funding to undertake road improvement works along St Vincent Highway.
DIT has engaged contractor Downer to carry out works between Yorketown and Edithburgh.
The works will include:
• Shoulder widening
• Culvert replacement
• Resealing works
Construction is scheduled to commence the week beginning Monday 9 February 2026, with works expected to be completed by early May 2026, weather permitting.
Downer will issue an Advance Work Notice prior to works commencing. Variable Message Signs (VMS) will also be installed at either end of the worksite before and during construction to inform road users.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead, follow traffic management directions, and allow extra travel time while works are underway.

Have you met Madi yet?! 👋�She’s our pilates-loving, neuro-guru, and we’re so excited to have her on the team!

Madi has joined us full time after balancing work between APS & the Royal Adelaide Hospital this year. She has a special interest in Neuroscience & Vestibular Rehab & will be pursuing further training in this space next year 📚

If you’re feeling dizzy, she’ll be your new go-to, but her work at the RAH has also given her experience with a range of presentations.

A passionate Pilates lover, Madi completed her training in 2021 and has plenty of teaching experience at Strong Pilates in Adelaide.

If you haven’t met her yet, now’s the perfect time to book in! Madi is treating at Moonta from Mondays through to thursdays 💙

Our clinic will close while the team takes a well-earned break from Tues Dec 23rd & reopen Mon Jan 5th!

(Please note: Yorketown’s final day for 2025 is Thursday 18 Dec!)

That means just about 3 weeks left to sort out those ni**les before the silly season hits. Appointments start to fill fast closer to Christmas, don’t leave it to the last minute!

We’re pretty excited here- we have Harry playing in the Moonta B Grade, Nick as the Moonta A Grade runner and Lahni in the A Grade netball for Bute!

Yorketown update! 👋🏼

This week Matilda, our Exercise Physiologist, starts maternity leave! 🤰We wish her, Josh and Maggie, all the best as they welcome another little family member into the world!!

In other news, our physio Harry will be starting at Yorketown on Thursdays from October 2nd.
He is open next Wednesday the 17th of September for a once off this month though! Call up or jump online to book in.
Lahni is still in YT on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Also, Harry is trained in dry needling so if you’re a fan of that treatment, book in with Harry!
