🌿 What a Night! 🌿

Last week we attended the Onkaparinga Business Awards event, and although we didn’t take home the prize, we left feeling incredibly proud and deeply grateful. 💚✨

Being finalists again this year is already a huge achievement — one that reflects the heart, passion, and purpose behind everything we do at ALMA Cooking Support. Every class, every meal prepared, every moment spent building confidence in the kitchen with our participants… that’s the real reward for us. 🍳💛

Big shoutout to C. this week! 👏

When he first joined our sessions, he barely ate anything — and this week he not only cooked 5 amazing panzerottis (you’ll see in the video how precise, clean, and fast he is 👨‍🍳✨) but also tried Brussels sprouts for the very first time… and loved them! 🥦💚

Moments like this remind us of what Mentoring in the Kitchen is all about — building confidence, discovering new tastes, and celebrating every little win along the way.

🌟 Today’s kitchen stars were two amazing siblings, just 13 and 15 years old!

When we plan our meals, we always think of three things:
🥗 Healthy – nourishing the body.
👌 Simple – so cooking feels achievable.
🌸 Pretty – because presentation matters!

Food that looks good makes us proud of what we’ve created.

For young people, that moment of seeing a colourful, well-plated dish isn’t just about the meal—it’s a boost of self-esteem. ✨
They see their effort transformed into something beautiful, and it builds confidence not only in the kitchen, but in themselves.

Cooking is so much more than following a recipe. It’s about believing: “I made this, and it looks amazing.” 💪👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
