About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Mobile Physiotherapist to provide community-based services to clients who are elderly, living with disability, or funded under the NDIS across Perth Metro.

This is a highly flexible role where you manage your own diary and workload.

While there are no minimum hour requirements, working across at least two non-consecutive days is preferred to support client continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct physiotherapy assessments and treatments in the community

Deliver functional rehabilitation and exercise programs

Work independently while supported by a senior clinical team

Complete documentation and reports in a timely manner

Manage your own schedule effectively

Liaise with clients, carers, case managers and allied health professionals

About You

Essential:

AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)

Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Medicare Provider Number (or eligibility)

Highly Regarded:

Experience with NDIS, DVA or EPC/Care Plans

Community or mobile physiotherapy experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, adaptable and self-motivated approach

Wry Neck: A Scientific Exploration 🧬

Wry neck, a condition characterised by an abnormal neck posture and limited neck mobility, presents in two primary forms: acute wry neck and facet joint wry neck.

1️⃣ Acute Wry Neck: This variant manifests as severe neck pain accompanied by significant restriction in neck mobility, often rendering neck movement nearly impossible. While it can affect individuals of any age group, it is notably prevalent among teenagers. In cases where adolescents experience such distressing neck pain, it is advisable to promptly seek medical consultation. This may help to rule out underlying conditions and ensure appropriate management.

2️⃣ Facet Joint Wry Neck: Facet joint wry neck occurs when the neck's facet joints become locked, resulting in restricted neck movement and intense pain. Management typically involves the intervention of a physiotherapist who specialises in unlocking the affected joints to alleviate pain and restore normal function.
