A little love letter to the biz that gave me so much, they shut there doors today after 10years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the opportunity to work for you.
I did my first class with the totally inspiring .movement in 2014 and fell in love with barre, I had a little thought that maybe I could teach this! So I worked up some courage and sent in an audition video. I gave a demo of how to do a pirouette, I’ll have to dig it up… it’s some of the daggiest s**t I’ve ever done 😂 anyway I was obviously TOTALLY endearing haha and I landed a job that changed my life. I taught for 6 years at bb and made life long friends. It was a job which could support my art practice but soon became my passion. I absolutely love that I can share the joy of movement with so many people today, and have barre body to thank for that (also for hiring me and taking me under your wing! 😘) you also made a big impact on my teaching career and I’m very grateful to have had you as a mentor, friend and teacher through out our years together at bb.
The clients and community at bb was just phenomenal and I miss it very much.
To the whole bb family I love you and thanks for the myriad of wonderful moments we shared. ❤️❤️❤️
