A reminder for those looking to build their knowledge and get some hands on practice with breech vaginal birth in a simulator setting.

This workshop is ACM accredited for 6CPD covering antenatal, labour, birth and postpartum care. We discuss the research, ACM guidelines, midwifery code of conduct, appropriate documentation and so much more.

The 24th has been closed for bookings but a few spaces still available for the 25th for the North Canberra Hospital location. Tickets available vie Eventbrite (link in bio).

An early finish to being on call this year and thoroughly enjoying the slowing down and exploring in other areas.

I share my stats to be transparent and honest and I like to make it clear that I cannot guarantee a “perfect birth”. Birth will be what it will be and it is my role to hold space, educate, advocate and support a woman through the journey as she surrenders to what is.

This year one baby birthed before I arrived. It was the mamas third baby and she was supported by her partner with phone support from me until I arrived. I otherwise witnessed all of these births and will be forever grateful to work in this space.
