Narromine Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic

Narromine Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic Our mission at Narromine Physiotherapy is to enhance the physical health, fitness & quality of life holistically to our patients young and old.

We aim to achieve this through current evidence based practise techniques that are of the upmost qualit Our Manager/Owner, Lisa Bullock has been an Exercise Physiologist for 17 years and a Physiotherapist for 12 years. With her years of experience both with athletes at the Australian Institute of Sport, various Rugby/Netball and triathlon teams, both in Australia & the UK, and her own sporting success as a representative for Australia in the Duathlon team to experience with worker compensation, pain clinics, post operative, post surgical, chronic, sub acute, acute spinal and peripheral injuries. Lisa is able to offer a vast knowledge to provide individualised exercise programs to her patients. Lisa has also gained a vast array of experience as a physiotherapist working in Workers Compensation/pain clinics again both in Australia and overseas. In acute and chronic rehabilitation including orthopaedic (hip and knee replacements), neurological including stroke, Parkinson's and brain injuries, to cardiorespiratory and the elderly. Lisa opened Narromine Physiotherapy 10 years ago and her passion lies in Musculoskeletal Physio and has bought her skills and experience to this clinic to make it the thriving success it is today. She has a strong belief that a multidisciplinary approach will always be of most benefit to the patient and aims to diagnose, treat and manage for each patient with the highest level of respect and care. Our services include:

Physiotherapy - manual therapy including joint mobilisation and manipulation to improve the range of movement in a joint to decrease pain and stiffness. Our Physiotherapist has a special interest in spinal injuries and applies joint mobilisation in a passive manner to achieve an increase in spinal ROM and decrease in pain in a variety of current evidenced based techniques. Exercise Physiology - individual exercise programs from an acute injury through to the rehabilitation program to assist the patient, athlete, individual to return to sport/work and improve their overall functional capacity. We also offer weight loss programs through exercise and work closely with accredited dieticians to achieve optimal results. Dry Needling & Cupping - to treat muscular pain and myofascial dysfunction from cardiogenic headaches, chronic back pain to acute sporting injuries. These techniques are very effective for relaxing overactive muscles which contain trigger points. Massage Therapy - is an excellent adjunct to physiotherapy to provide a holistic approach through soft tissue release in conjunction with joint release with the physiotherapy. Massage is effective for reducing pain and muscle strain/stress, and can assist with myofascial pain syndrome, chronic pain, improve relaxation and enhance exercise performance. At Narromine Physio we are able to offer Massage Therapy and Exercise Therapy with physiotherapy in one complete package.

✨ We get great results with this specialised treatment for spinal pain - Sarah Key Physiotherapy.

This unique approach uses the heel of the foot to gently mobilise stiff spinal segments, unlocking movement and providing lasting relief. 🙌

Here’s the Back Block sequence you can try at home:

1️⃣ Lie over a Sarah Key back block under your sacrum.

2️⃣ Straighten one leg at a time and hold for 60 seconds (expect some discomfort it’s doing its job!).

3️⃣ Remove the block, hug both knees to your chest, and rock gently for 15–30 seconds.

4️⃣ Clasp your hands behind your head, cross your ankles, open your thighs, and rock your knees toward your chin 15 times engaging your lower abs to lift your hips slightly.

Lisa has been using the Sarah Key Therapy method for over 18 years, both personally and in clinic, and the results speak for themselves. 💪✨

At Narromine Physio, we understand that every body and every injury is different. That’s why we offer both dry needling and cupping two evidence-based treatments that complement each other in helping relieve pain, release tension, and restore function.

Dry Needling: Targets specific muscle ‘knots’ (trigger points) with ultra-fine needles to reset tight muscle bands, improve blood flow, and reduce pain fast. Often, just a few sessions deliver noticeable relief.

Cupping: Uses gentle suction to draw tissue upward, improving circulation, easing fascial tightness, and delivering a soothing, relaxing release great for broader areas and ongoing tension.

Book in today and let us tailor a plan that gets you strong, mobile, and back to doing what you love fast.

Hi, I’m Lisa Watt 👋

Founder and Principal Physiotherapist at Narromine Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic.

I am very passionate about helping the individual with their health needs and ensure every patient receives my upmost attention, genuine care and expertise.

I hold a Masters degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Exercise Science & Rehabilitation with Honours from the University of Wollongong.
With over 26 years experience in the health industry, I’ve had the privilege of working with patients across many disciplines.

These include Royal North Shore Pain Clinic, Fit For Work rehabilitation, Dubbo Base, Mudgee, Gilgandra and Warren hospitals and Lourdes rehab hospital. AIS, Sydney Academy of Sport, and private practice in Mudgee and in the UK, before opening my own business in Narromine 18 years ago.

In 2007, I opened the clinic with the goal of bringing quality, compassionate care to our rural communities with evidence based treatment and therapy.

Having dual qualifications allows our patients to be assessed, clinically diagnosed and treated accordingly in the acute and chronic setting with an individualised exercise program with the one therapist. This creates continuity of care and assists with mainitaining a sound relationship with the individual.

We have since also expanded our services to Dubbo and Warren, growing a team that shares my passion for helping people move well and live fully.

Outside of the clinic, I’m an avid runner, having completed numerous ultra-marathons, marathons, Ironman triathlons, and proudly represented Australia at the Duathlon World Championships in 2015. I also love running and competing alongside my boys.

If you’re looking for support to move better, manage pain, or just feel more confident in your body—my team and I are here for you with genuine care and compassion.
