Self wonder is the practice of curiosity.
The question "What do you notice?" is the starting point of the journey of self discovery and invites a focusing of attention away from the mind and into the deepest reaches of the body.
Exploring the sensations and wisdom held in the body layer by layer creates the conditions to learn about what truely matters to you in the moment you are in. It invites you to look beyond the preconceptions and conditioning that form the foundations of your current beliefs and discover what gives you authentic pleasure.
Are you curious to explore what lies beyond the subconscious routines and habits that you take for granted?
If so I invite you to take a small step into the unknown and start on a curious exploration of pleasure. A journey in which you are held in a container of trust, compassion, safety, and integrity.
My own journey of somatic exploration has been ongoing for many years and over the last ten years has evolved through a process of self awareness, spiritual awakening, and my desire to find pleasure while remaining fully integrated and ethically aligned with my beliefs and values.
As a Yoga teacher I learned to feel my body as it moved through various poses and positions. I also learned the value of slowing down, subtlety, and the sense of spirit that comes with paying attention to the magnificence of my animal body.
In the next phase I learned about bringing the subtlety into other parts of my life with an exploration of Ta**ra and Shamanic practices. Along with the subtlety came intensity and exploring the shadows of who I am.
Now in the latest part of my adventure I feel the desire to share what I have learned and act as a guide for those who are also curious about what else there is under the outer shell their identity.
I invite you to create your own journey and explore your boundaries and beliefs in ways that allow you to expand your experience and learn about yourself.
I will be honoured and privileged to join you. For parts of the journey my role may be simply to hold space. At other times it may look different. However each moment unfolds, it will only do so with clear agreement that respects your boundaries and mine.
The wisdom of the mind, heart, gut, ge****ls, spirit and animal comes to us in different, sometimes conflicting, ways. Each contribute to the collective wisdom we hold in our bodies.
What do you notice in your body right here and now?
Notice if you feel the curiosity to invite me on your journey. If so I invite you to reach out and connect so we can feel into whether it may be a good fit.
If you don't feel the curiosity then notice that you don't. Each condition is as valid as the other. Honour yourself and the wisdom of your body.
