We love it when we secure an employment outcome for the people we work with!

With thanks to the support of for employing Harrison as their new delivery driver!

East End Flower Co will also be one of our partner businesses for our work skills employment program launching very soon.

Clients working with us to can access an 8-10 week program being a fully supported, tailored work experience program designed to empower participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to explore ongoing employment. The program touches on gaining work experience, building independence and confidence within a team, whilst offering one on one supports throughout the duration of the program.

We also have similar programs based across other industries coming online in the future as well.

Looking for an employer in the cabinet making space or similar who might be able to host a very capable and engaging year 11 student for school work experience. Needs 35 can be a day week or a block. All insurances are covered.
He has some great experience in repurposing timber furniture and very eager.

He is also looking for some work around the Maitland area after school and weekends if you needed a pair of hands to clean up the workshop etc.

Congrats to Mike hitting 10 weeks of washing cars. With very few supported employment options in his local area we helped Mike start his own little business washing cars for family, friends, neighbours and anyone locally who wanted their car washed - Car Wash By Mike was born!

His employment mentor Ben (Formerly owner of Newy Burger Co) gave him an incentive of a personal burger making session once Mike reached a milestone of 10 weeks and today was that day!

Hi all,

We offer a service which helps mentor people with disabilities to gain employment.

It’s not just putting people in a vacancy and hoping for the best it’s connecting empathetic and understanding business owners and employers with people who genuinely want to work.

We are currently working with a lady who is based in Aberglasslyn, she has a vision impairment and is seeking casual work. She has a fantastic background in retail with a great capacity to work and has experience from Woolworths, Spotlight and Franklins.

As part of our journey with those we work with we will assist them to transition into employment and offer support to those in the initial stages of employment to help them transition into the role and facilitate learning any new skills that may be required.

If you feel you may have an opportunity that would be a good fit we would love to hear from you.

Posted • .x.karma My last post for is a thank you. Firstly to all my board sponsors who jumped on before Surfeb started with a $500 donation (Listed below).

Thank you to everyone who donated. Thank you to all the rad people of Team Newy raising over $50,000 which equates to 500 cancer research hours at .

Lastly a thank you to everyone who got behind the Waddingham boys who did Surfeb in their dad’s name to honour his years of commitment to doing Surfeb. They raised just over $27,000 and we know he would be so proud ❤️
