What happens when you bring together Support at Home providers from across the Central Coast and Hunter?

A whole lot of learning, sharing, and tough conversations that needed to happen.

Our Founder and Managing Director takes you behind the scenes of the Support at Home Summit that we recently convened.

The day was packed with sessions that really matter right now...

A presentation from the Department of Health, Disability and Aged Care

Insights from a local assessor

And in-depth discussions on assistive technology, the home modification scheme, the restorative care pathway, and the end of life pathway.

And to top it off โ€” a provider panel that didn't shy away from the hard questions.

It's a lot of change for everyone in the sector.

That's exactly why we brought people together.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Want to know more about our Support at Home allied health services? Visit https://loom.ly/stgaUAw

We proudly partner with all Support at Home providers across the Central Coast and Hunter, and we're a registered CHSP provider for allied health services across the region.

..when both husband AND wife agree ๐Ÿ˜„

Our older adults are loving their group exercise sessions โ€” and the best part?

They're not stopping when class ends.

They're keeping it going at home!

Stronger muscles.

More confidence.

And a whole lot of laughs along the way.

Whether you're looking to stay active, get stronger, or just find a fun group to move with โ€” we've got a program for you.

Happy International Womenโ€™s Day on Sunday!

This yearโ€™s global theme is "Give to Gain."

Itโ€™s a straightforward idea: when society invests into women, everyone wins.

The sad reality is that inequality still exists in many areas of society, including workplaces.

At CT, I'm committed to not being one of those workplaces, and it's not hard. It's common sense.

Some examples of driving equality at CT:

Real equality: We have no gender pay gaps across any of our roles.

Proven leadership: 80% of our total workforce are women and 70% of leaders are women.

Mothers: We know that professional growth shouldn't stop just because you're a mother. Women on maternity leave at CT are included in internal job openings and interviews. Seems simple. But it is often overlooked by workplaces.

Women and men at CT occupy a truly privileged position.

We care for the older women who forged the path and fought for the rights we have today.

We care for young women and girls who will carry the baton for the future.

By giving our best to the women and girls in our care and on our team, we all gain.

To all the women at CT...thank you for all that you do each and every day in our community.

To the women and families in our community that trust CT with your healthcare....thank you...it's truly our privilege.

"Sheer relief that everyone is facing the same challenges"

Kate from BaptistCare summed up the most common thing attendees of the Support at Home Summit said

The Support at Home reform is arguably the largest and most challenging reform that the community aged care sector has faced together

It is challenging for participants

It is challenging for families

It is challenging for organisations and their teams

We held the Support at Home Summit for registered providers so that providers across our region could come together and share stories

Share learnings

Share challenges

And share wins

We look forward to holding more events for our region in the future ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Š
