Those who seek to extract love are often rooted in a sense of lack…trying to take what they haven’t yet cultivated within.
But real love doesn’t take. It gives. It shows up. And it’s unmistakable when it’s there.

External validation can never make us whole!

It may feel good in the moment, but when we rely on others to tell us who we are, we’re avoiding the deeper work of remembering it for ourselves.

Seeking constant affirmation is a subtle form of self-abandonment…a way of outsourcing our worth, hoping someone else will fix what only we can heal.

Yes, kind words are beautiful. But they cannot repair the beliefs that keep us from peace.

A common trap in relationship repair is making the goal about stopping a particular behaviour.

I might say, “I’m working hard on being less defensive.” While reducing defensiveness is valuable, if it becomes the goal, it often remains centre stage.

Why? Because what we focus on, we feed.

Instead, I can try this:
Make Love the goal.
Love as Compassion.
Love as Trust.
Love as Patience.
Love as Kindness.

Now my attention shifts, not toward the problem, but toward the essence of what I want to create instead.

When Love becomes the focus, conflict softens, and peace is no longer just possible…it becomes natural.

Within each of us lives a quiet, unchanging power.
