⚡ Have you heard of Bioadaptive Impulse Therapy aka Medkey for horses? ⚡

This therapy uses gentle impulses to communicate with the nervous system and support the body’s natural ability to restore balance.

It can help with things like:

🔓persistent muscle tension
🔓restricted movement
🔓compensation patterns
🔓inconsistent performance
🔓behavioural changes linked to discomfort

I had to cut my horse Harmony's start under staddle short as she was sore through her pelvis. Her movement changed, she became grumpy and had difficulty lifting her hind legs for the farrier.

After just two osteo and Medkey treatments she has shown incredible improvement and is much happier. She is now coming back into work and is willing and happy in her job.

I use Bioadaptive Impulse Therapy alongside equine osteopathy to support horses moving and feeling their best. It’s incredible the improvement just one session can make 🐎🐎🐎

📍Curious about how treatments might benefit your horse?

Flick wasn’t quite feeling like herself and wasn’t moving freely forward under saddle, so Mia booked her in for a session.

After one treatment combining equine osteopathy and MedKey bioadaptive impulse therapy, Flick showed a great response. Mia said she felt much more like her usual self on the very next ride following treatment. ✨

It’s always rewarding to help horses feel more comfortable in their bodies so they can move, perform and enjoy their work again.

📍If your horse isn’t feeling quite themselves, feel free to get in touch to chat about whether a session could help.

🐴🐴🐴One of the things I love about Medkey 🔑🔑🔑 aka Bioadaptive Impulse Therapy is watching how horses respond during treatment. 🐴🐴🐴

Some horses:

• yawn
• lick and chew
• drop their head and relax
• even get a little sleepy

These responses often show the nervous system shifting into a more relaxed state.

Every horse is different, but it’s always fascinating to see how they react. ✨✨✨

⚡ What is Bioadaptive Impulse Therapy?

Bioadaptive Impulse Therapy (MedKey) is a gentle therapy that sends small impulses through the body to help stimulate the nervous system and support the body’s natural ability to restore balance.

In horses it may help with:
muscle tension• soreness and stiffness• recovery after work• general wellbeing and relaxation

Many horses visibly relax during treatment and it can be a great complement to osteopathic work.

I offer Bioadaptive Impulse Therapy as part of treatments through Dynamic Equine Therapy.

If you’d like to know more or organise a group booking at your property, feel free to message me 🐎

✨ Introducing our 3rd Sponsored Rider – Linda Merrilees ✨🐴

Linda’s loves of her life are Fuji (24) 💙 and Quilla (16) 🤎, and she’s been in the saddle for over 50 years 🏇, inheriting her deep love of horses from her wonderful mother 💫. A true pony club kid, Linda has been a competitive rider across many disciplines — from western with Quarter Horses 🤠 to eventing, dressage, show jumping and working equitation.

After discovering horsemanship, Linda found a whole new passion ✨. She now focuses on starting her own horses and continually expanding her education around training, welfare and the horse–human partnership 📚🐎.

Linda chooses to ride bitless 🧠, her horses are unrugged and live out on pasture 24/7 🌿, and she takes a genuinely holistic approach to equine welfare 💛. Fuji, a $200 drought baby purchased 22 years ago, is now entering his senior years 🐴✨, and Linda is deeply mindful of keeping him both physically and mentally engaged. Through her experience with clicker training 🎯, Fuji enjoys learning tricks and heading out on trails 🌲 — often off-leash alongside Quilla 🐎💞. Together, they love exploring the trails as a team 🥾🌄.

Linda is partnering with Dynamic Equine Therapy 🤍 to support her horses as they age, helping them stay comfortable, healthy and feeling good in their bodies 🌟. We’re so proud to support a rider whose values so closely align with our own 🙌✨

Why osteopathy matters 🐴

A joint is designed to move.
When a joint loses its normal ability to move, it can no longer maintain healthy tissue integrity. Over time, circulation reduces, tissues become compromised, and degeneration begins.

Osteopathic treatment focuses on restoring normal, balanced movement within joints and the surrounding soft tissues. This helps:
• support healthy circulation
• reduce compensatory strain elsewhere in the body
• maintain tissue health and resilience
• support long-term soundness and comfort

Movement is nutrition for joints.
Protecting movement is protecting the horse.
