What an incredible day at our 2026 Season Launch 🎉

A huge thank you to all those involved in making the day a big success! Thank you to Williamstown FIDA FC for hosting. Thank you to InLife Independent Living and Studiotech Australia for the support.

A big congratulations to all players who participated in the game, with the FIDA InLife Local Legends taking the Footy4Everyone Cup in a great game against the Studiotech Australia Parliamentary Owls.

And thank you to our Parliamentary Members who came along to both play in the game and support the day!

Here's to an exciting 2026 season ahead!

A huge thank you to the Monash Demons for hosting our first InLife Tackle Free Carnival by FIDA for 2026 on the 29th of March.

Well done to all involved in the day, players, supporters and volunteers alike. The canteen was a big hit also!

It is wonderful having such a supportive partner in InLife Independent Living including all their fantastic volunteers attending the event also.

We look forward to our next InLife Tackle Free Carnival by FIDA on the 24th of May, we are hoping to share the next event within other club zones into the future, the next group of clubs will receive an email with details regarding hosting.

For anyone travelling by train to the Footy4Everyone Cup FIDA Season Launch on Sunday 12 April, bus replacement is happening for the Werribee and Williamstown lines from North Melbourne. There's information on the PTV website - see below. Best to allow some extra time.

This Sunday 12 April is the day! The Footy4Everyone Cup!

The inaugural Footy4Everyone Cup marks the 2026 FIDA Season launch. This big game sees representatives from the Parliament of Victoria - the Owls - play Local Legends from FIDA clubs who show week in, week out, on and off the field, the FIDA spirit and what FIDA means.

Come along to cheer on your Victorian state MPs and the FIDA players for what will be a wonderful day and a great game!

The Footy4Everyone Cup is at Fearon Reserve, Williamstown, The game kicks-off at 11am and will finish at 12.30pm with presentations to follow.

We are very honoured to have Mark Gibson KC umpiring the game. Mark is a Life Member of FIDA and has umpired many games in many competitions for many years.

David Dodson a seasoned and well-respected FIDA umpire. David is also President of the Cranbourne All Abilities Football Club

Final player announcements for the FIDA Season Launch 2026 Footy4Everyone Cup - playing for the FIDA InLife Independent Living Local Legends.

From the Ringwood Spiders All-Abilities Sports Club Terry Markoulakis. Terry has played for the Ringwood Spiders since 2022. His passion and enthusiasm for FIDA football and dedication to the club makes him an important part of the Spiders community.

From the Fountain Gate JFC - The Gators FIDA club Lachie Hickox. Lachie is a wonderful young man who plays his football in the true spirit of FIDA, fully embracing enjoyment, inclusion and participation. He is a true sportsman who is well regarded by his teammates, opposition players and clubs. He genuinely loves his footy and is looking forward to participating in this exciting event, supporting FIDA and the broader inclusion community.

From the Lower Plenty Bears FIDA Football Club Nathan Soccio. Nathan is one of 10 founding members of the Lower Plenty Bears FIDA team started in 2013. He loves the game and loves the camaraderie with his team mates. The crowd goes crazy when Nathan kicks a goal.

More Owls player announcements for the FIDA 2026 Season Launch!

Rounding out the Studiotech Australia Owls team to play with the MPs, from our very own FIDA is our President Logan Whitaker, our Treasurer Ryan Power and our General Manager John Kostopulos.

Logan is the Global Engagement Manager at the Cotton On Foundation and born and bred in Melbourne. He used to work for FIDA back in the day!

Ryan is Head of Finance at InLife Independent Living and a former VFL Academy Coach with Collingwood Football Club.

John is a Pies supporter with a storied country football (St Marys, Seymour) and VAFA career (Richmond centrals). He tells us not all the stories were good :)
