WELCOMING AMBER - ACCREDITED EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST

If you want evidence of pure joy, energy and sunshine - here she is! We couldn’t think of a more fitting profession for this energiser bunny!

We are thrilled to be welcoming Amber to the Alchemy family! She will be treating patients across both our NOOSA and GYMIE clinics as of the week commencing 13th April!

Amber began her career in a neurological rehabilitation setting, building a strong foundation in supporting complex conditions before transitioning into private practice. Amber now works with a broad range of clients across musculoskeletal injuries, chronic conditions, and rehabilitation.

She has extensive experience supporting individuals with chronic pain and more complex presentations, and has worked with a wide range of funding types and demographics, including DVA clients and older adults. Amber is passionate about helping her clients improve long-term function, maintain independence, and enhance their quality of life. She has completed additional training in GLAD (hip and knee osteoarthritis), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS), and technical lifting, allowing her to tailor her approach to each individual.

Amber developed a strong passion for clinical Pilates through her work in rehabilitation. She now integrates Pilates-based movement with exercise therapy to deliver a holistic and sustainable approach to care, focusing on improving movement quality, strength, and body awareness.

Known for her warm, friendly, and empathetic nature, Amber takes a personalised and collaborative approach with every client. She works closely with individuals to help them build strength, move with confidence, and feel more in control of their bodies, supporting them to return to the activities they love.

Outside of the clinic, Amber enjoys teaching Pilates, reading, listening to music, and dancing. She values balance, creativity, and ongoing personal and professional growth.

WELCOMING JO - OSTEOPATH

We are thrilled to announce that Jo is joining the Alchemy family this month!

Jo is an experienced osteopath - owning and running successful osteopathy clinics in Melbourne - we’re thrilled that he has made the move to Noosa and is calling Alchemy home!

Jo is a DO (Doctor of Osteopathy) with extensive training in musculoskeletal health and manual medicine.

Jo’s treatment style is predominantly direct and structural, aimed at the musculoskeletal system. His approach is also shaped by personal experience — after surviving a serious motorbike accident, he went through a long rehabilitation journey himself. That experience informs how he works with people in pain, combining clinical expertise with genuine empathy and a strong belief in the body’s capacity to recover when properly supported.

During his examination and treatments, Jo uses a holistic approach incorporating elements from the practices of osteopathy, remedial massage and eastern medicine into his personalised treatments.

Jo’s first day with us is WEDNESDAY 15th April and he will be in our NOOSA clinic every Wednesday and Friday.

BPPV

BPPV or Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo is a common and usually treatable cause of dizziness. ⁠

BPPV can feel like the room is spinning especially when you roll over in bed, look up, or tilt your head. ⁠
⁠
We have physiotherapists who have a special interest in treating dizziness through utilising gentle, specific head and body movements, called repositioning manoeuvres. ⁠
⁠
We will often send you home with simple self-treatment exercises, so you can continue your progress between appointments. These exercises can help speed recovery and reduce the chances of BPPV returning.⁠

We are SO blessed to have this divine soul in our team - not only from her energy and what she brings to the Alchemy family, but her experience and knowledge is second to none.

Nadja is a traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor and Acupuncturist and she specialises in a Japanese style of acupuncture which provides patient a beautiful, softer and nurturing adjunct to treatment.

We have worked with Nadja for years (referring our clients onto her for pregnancy and postnatal support as well as pre and post menopausal support) however to now be able to offer our gorgeous clients her services and expertise IN the clinic we couldn’t be more thrilled!

If you’ve never tried acupuncture / TCM or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. She is the most beautiful soul and we know you are going to absolutely adore her!

To say we are humbled would be an understatement.

This year we’re supporting It'll Take A Tribe in their Christmas Drive. We are accepting donations on behalf of this amazing local charity that supports gorgeous families and kids in need on rhe Sunshine Coast.

If you would like to donate, we would be so appreciate of your support - simply drop your donation off to the clinic (35 Mary St Noosaville) anytime between now and next Friday 12th December and we will hand deliver to It’ll Take a Tribe HQ next Friday.

They are accepting new toys, gift cards, experiences and food and grocery items for babies, kids, teens, mums and dads and adults. Please make sure you keep your donation unwrapped however so that the amazing team at It’ll Take a Tribe can distribute the gifts and donations in a meaningful way.
