I AM NOT A RUNNER” 🏃♀️👟
I realised that this is what I say to myself and it’s how I describe myself to others.
As a psychologist, I teach my clients about growth mindset everyday…… but today I realised my internal dialogue about my own ability to exercise was as fixed as it gets. 🤦🏻♀️
Today I decided to take my own advice & am now going to tell myself
“I may not be the runner I want to be just YET - but at least I AM running. This still makes me a runner”🏃
Today I celebrated that I was moving my body …even when I didn’t want to…..even when my mind gave me a hundred excuses.
This is progress for me.
