How It Began
Our story started on a Saturday in Ulladulla, NSW when I would take a young man with disabilities for a drive and lunch. We would arrive at Ulladulla Harbour with our chips and as expected the seagulls would gather. Every time we visited one particular seagull would land on my car. He became known as Stumpy. Stumpy was missing a foot due to an injury and when I shared the story of Stumpy with a friend they said, "Didn't you know in every flock there is at least one seagull with a disability."
