Plantar heel pain, often caused by a condition called plantar fasciitis is a common condition we treat in the clinic.

Contributing factors can include:
-Drastic increase in walking or daily exercise
-Footwear choices (or more time out of shoes)
-Hard floor surfaces (tiles, floorboards, concrete)

A common symptom of plantar fasciitis is pain first thing in the morning, that ‘warms up’, and can often become quite debilitating.

Also known as Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome is pain present around the Tibia (shin) bone.

This pain is often aggravated by high impact sports or repetitive movements such as running.

Things that can cause shin splints include:
-Tight muscles
-Running on hard surfaces
-Running more frequently with less rest
-Worn out shoes
