Dr Brian Siva, Specialist Physician and Nephrologist.

Dr Brian Siva is an experienced General Physician and Nephrologist, highly skilled in modifying the cardiovascular risk in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease. His renal expertise is also critical in the assessment of patients with resistant hypertension and assessment of hematuria and proteinuria. Dr Siva’s other areas of competency include slowing the progression of Chronic Kidney Disease, vascular risk factor modification in CKD, Dialysis and Renal Palliative Care.

He is steadfast in my commitment to the care of my patients, always ensuring they achieve the best possible results.

Dr Kong Chak Ng, Rheumatologist.

In his role as a Rheumatologist, Dr Kong Chak Ng provides the highest standard of care possible when it comes to the non-surgical evaluation and treatment of rheumatic diseases and conditions.
Dr Ng’s specialty areas include rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, connective tissue disease, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and biological agents. He also performs joint injections and diagnostic aspirations and offer a fully integrated service to rapidly adopt a treatment plan for every person under his care.

Meet Dr Dhammika Gunasekara, General Physician and Nephrologist.

Dr Gunasekara’s specialist Nephrology interests include glomerular and tubular-interstitial disorders, resistant hypertension, diabetic nephropathy and renal tubular disorders. His General Medicine areas of competency are diabetes management, hypocholesteremia, thyroid disorders and non-surgical weight management in obese patients.

As well as working as a Bariatric Physician with two of WA’s leading bariatric surgical groups, he is ardent about my community work and maintain a constant focus on Indigenous health.

ACCESS DRS COVID-19 UPDATE
(Including Access Cardiology and Vascular)
Following on from today's announcement by the State Government that Perth will go into a 5 day lockdown commencing 6pm this evening, Access Drs would like to advise that we will remain OPEN for business during this period.

Patients who having testing appointments are welcome to, and should continue to attend for their appointments, allowable under the State Governments "four essential purposes" for leaving home.

Our specialists will continue to consult via phone with patients. You will receive further communication from our staff regarding this. Should you wish to postpone your appointment please contact us.

In addition to the mandatory wearing of a face mask (staff and patients), for the safety of both our staff and patients we will continue to exercise all previous precautions including the following:

- Provision of hand sanitiser in the waiting room upon arrival.
- Socially distanced waiting room chairs, with additional chairs placed immediately outside the practice.
- If you would feel more comfortable waiting in your car, upon checking in ask reception to give you a call once your sonographer is ready to see you.
- Removal of cloth covers from all treatment beds, to allow for more thorough cleaning in between patients.
- All staff have completed Australian Department of Health infection control training.

If you have any concerns regarding your health and safety while attending any of our Access locations, please do not hesitate to discuss these with our receptionists.
