Lately I've succumbed to the fear that is going on in in the world, do you know the feels?
A loved one said to me, you are focussing on the things you can't control- try focussing on the things you can.
It's funny how even when you know something, when you are in the throes of overwhelm how quickly your brain stops functioning. And its designed to do this as my energy was generating the fight and flight response, and was giving nothing to my frontal cortex, the part of my brain with higher reasoning and problem solving.
So friend, if you are in overwhelm right now, I want you to stop.
Take three deep breaths.
its going to be okay.
Having some structure will be your friend right now. giving you something to anchor on to.
For me, even just 15 minutes of yoga first thing in the morning shifts my energy from " I dont know how to live life at the moment" to " its ok. one thing at a time I've got this".
You too have this, sister. You've got this. Everything is okay.
Remember to breathe.
Overhwhelm is simply a frequency and it can shift when you choose to shift it. .
