Happiest of birthdays to this handsome guy!!

Today is Nick's 20th birthday!!! Unbelievable!

We first met Nick when he was still 15 years old and what a ride it has been supporting him!

Nick is all the emotions wrapped into one and loves to love, just as we love to love him!

A master of giving speeches and hugs, we look forward to the next 5 years with you Nick xx

Our second Halloween event for October was this - our Ghost Train!!!

We took our spooky bat bus to Gympie where we boarded our train to be wowed by clowns, vampires and even death himself!

We all dressed up and were supported by our BL devils 😈 and had such a thrilling night!!!

If you didn't already know, we love build a bear - I mean that's where Malou and Mimi were born!

You know it's busy when we're quiet on the posting front! But we will try to get you all up to speed this week 😜

We had a number of celebrations for Halloween, our first one that kicked it all off was our monthly dinner and what a night it was!!

We had heaps of clients (and team) dress up, spooky games, we finally named our soft life sized 'skellies' and painted pumpkins and day of the dead skulls!

These are always great nights and we are grateful to all our clients who attend to connect with one another xx

So proud of this young lady who keeps going from strength to strength!

She listens to advice, has opened herself up to trying new things (even though they scare her) and has the biggest heart!

This week she got out of her comfort zone and learned how to serve customers, taking orders and use an EFTPOS machine!!!

She has almost completed one whole year of weekly work experience AND going to the gym 5/6 times a week!

Killing it Amy! Keep it up beautiful!! We are all so proud of you 🥳💕

What a ride it's been lately, between regular support, group events and a number of respite trips, we've been kept manning all action stations!
We are trying to be better at posting but with a Christmas party to plan and 20 group events before Christmas, it's a struggle.

Let's just do what we can.
So here's our latest group activity, to Lucha Fiesta! More photos to come of the luchadores, but it was a fun night learning a bit about this Mexican day and their national sport!

Though the security at the venue were disgusting in regards to their approach with our group, asking us to leave early because we needed to use the lift! The event itself was bright, colourful and fun!

If you didn't know, today is World Smile Day!!

World Smile Day is held annually on the first Friday in October. It is a day devoted to smiles and acts of kindness. First celebrated in 1999, World Smile Day seeks to reclaim the original meaning and intent of the iconic smiley face image by encouraging people to act kindly and make a person smile.

Smiles are free and if you haven't tried before, have a go at smiling at everyone you meet today, you will be surprised by the warm responses that you receive xx

I hope that each of you are more inclined today and each day forward to smile more and do an act of kindness for someone just because you can! It truly feels amazing and spreads joy, especially when our world needs more joy, love and kindness!

A massive happy father's day to all our dads out there today!

We are blessed to have two dads here in team BL and we would be lost without them!

Dads are the jokers, the 'anchors' and sometimes even the additional children in families (that's definitely the case in our household). But great men, such as Mr BL and our Tinker Fairy ~ Steve, are also honourable, men of morals and who demonstrate all that it is to be a good man and father!

Thank you to both of you for all you do for our clients and our team, as well as for your families!

And we hope all the dads out there had a brilliant day with their family and loved ones 💓

On Saturday night, it was our pleasure to celebrate our beautiful Miss Jordan's 21st birthday, with a Disney themed party never the less!

And what a magical night with Rapunzel it was!!! Everyone in attendance made the effort to dress up and play along in the fun. We had slinky dog from Toy Story, Bruce from finding Nemo and even Darth Maul from Star Wars.

It was a fabulous night to celebrate a beautiful and special lady and we were so honoured to attend.

Jordan is such a beautiful person inside and out and we are all better for knowing her and supporting her on this incredible journey 💕

And to show you our group activity on Saturday of the jet boating, here is one of the number of videos that we got. This is on the way back to the jetty after being spun in 360's over the water, getting drenched and having a ball. You can see (and hear) that everyone absolutely loved it and had a 'whale' of a time after all!

Our group are the 5 in the back row - left to right - Issy, Sasha, Ben, Nick and Tahliah and then the three on the left hand side of the middle row - left to right - Jordan, Tia and Georgia.

Such a great moment!
