Health is not linear and that is okay!
Stress, sleepless nights, grabbing food on the go and not able to get outside is something that we can all fall into easily. It’s not to beat yourself up on it, it’s more about acknowledging and being mindful in the changes you make.
You will go through different periods of your life when it’s more chaotic and you have a lack of time to focus on yourself.
This is perfectly normal especially in the life we live today.
Be kind to yourself and make small changes where you can to slowly bring yourself back ❣️
Some simple things I love to do when I feel life takes over:
- 5mins: go outside and take deep breathes. Touch into all your senses - see, smell, touch, hear and taste
- Before I eat: taking a deep breath and looking at my food - be present
- Reading a book that provides comfort and doesn’t make me think -especially before sleep
