I am beyond excited to let you all know SOLITUDE has a new owner!
Your favourite bath products are here to stay!

After a very quick turn of events the lovely Hope will be taking over.
While we swap over the business the website is closed for now until she is set up and settled in and will be back for Christmas shopping.

My heart is filled to the brim with everyone’s support over the years and kind wishes for the next adventure. I’m beyond grateful to you all and so excited that you can all keep enjoying your favourite bath treat, as well as enjoying much needed time out for yourself.

CALLING LAST ORDERS - Before I hang up my apron...Rewind five years ago I was exhausted and burnt out from a successful career in Interior Design. Throwing caution to the wind I decided to take some time off to recover and reassess. This space led me to creating SOLITUDE body+mind an interest where I could use my hands, be creative and throw myself into all things small business, something completely different to what I knew!

And what an incredibly fulfilling ride it's been!
From hundreds of orders, creative collaborations with high end brands, supplying to 50+ stockists, selling in Switzerland and Singapore, extending the range of products, hiring staff and so, so much more.

However, over the last 2 years the world of design has drawn me back in and I've struggled to nurture the business as I once did. My happy place is designing and creating and as much as I absolutely love getting my hands on the mixer, packing and sending these beautiful products into your homes, the time has come to focus on new opportunities.

But... before I say farewell, I'd love to make you one final batch...
I know these products help so many of you to relax and find your center - just as it has for me.

T H R O U G H S U C H tense times we have been holding each other and ourselves tightly. Wrapping ourselves in the comfort of soft cotton robes after long restorative baths.
There are some things in this world we can not change, then there some things we have the ability to help ease and in some instances we can create change in an instant... and then there are times we can only care for ourselves to be able to then help others again 💕

About Us

After a successful career in interior architecture running multiple projects at a time, managing staff, clients, expectations, councils and trades I was completely overwhelmed and stressed out which unfortunately is the reality for us all these days.

My incredible partner would run a bath for me while I was on my way home as having some space to myself and nourishing my nervous system with salts and essential oils was the only thing that would revive me for the next day, as well as be present for him and our relationship.

Around the same time I also started Vedic meditation through The Broad Place which opened my eyes to the fact that my body and mind couldn’t keep doing this and after crying in the middle of Bondi Beach far too many times I decided to take 2018 away from the industry I know.

Stepping away gave me the space to find myself again and play around with past interests such as essential oils, cooking, gardening and creating with my hands.

By helping myself this in turn created SOLITUDE body+mind which is here to help others in need of self-care and time out from their busy daily schedule. I know how lucky I am to have had space but it’s just not a reality for most of us so if I can help with an incredible bath experience for someone to enjoy for themselves or gift to another then it is a success.

In a world that revolves around being on all the time, go-go-going, instant satisfaction, ego and deadlines it's come to a point that the only way we can survive is to take a step back. It's time to go back to our roots, to pause, to get away, to immerse yourself in nature and to enjoy a moment of silence.

This is the gift that SOLITUDE body+mind is.

It's pulling away from the hustle and bustle if not just for a moment in time. It's stopping to smell the roses which in turn will spark memories and fill your heart. It's relaxing into a bath filled with the highest quality, all natural ingredients that will support your nervous system, nourish your skin and renew your energy. It's closing your eyes to meditation and breathing deep into the body letting any stress or tension melt away and it's coming back to the one you know best - you.

As a business whose “soul” purpose is to provide others with love, relaxation and self-care it doesn't stop with our beautiful products. Knowing that so many people, all over the world, have little access to clean drinking water while we soothe our stress away in a luxurious bath means we have to help in whatever way we can.

So, for each SOLITUDE purchase made please know that a donation will be made to our selected charity, Charity:water who focus on providing rural communities all over the world with access to clean water.

And it goes further than just water. It provides girls with educations where once they walked each day to collect the water for their families, it provides sanitation and education around hygiene and health and it also creates long term infrastructure and businesses.

So when you relax into your next SOLITUDE bath remember that not only are you helping yourself with self-care and relaxation but you’re also helping those in need… one bath at a time xx
