The reason I love Reiki, and energy healing in general so much is not only do I know for an absolute that It works, it doesn’t promise that when you come for a healing you are going to leave feeling “everything is wonderful and amazing” ( I don’t remember any of my clients skipping during a session -a little bit of crying or laughing but no skipping) but what it does do is balance you, you come out feeling centred, Reiki gets rid of what you are carrying at the time and for a period of time after. Reiki healings let you look at situations without all that old emotion attached to it and then YOU can then deal with REALLY letting those negative emotions go because if you don’t REALLY let it go it will just continue to return.

What is Reiki?
The Wikipedia definition of Reiki is: Reiki is a form of energy healing, a type of alternative medicine Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. Wikipedia.
While this is technically correct it doesn’t explain why and how it heals. We ALL carry things with us – things that have happened or been said to us that we pretend don’t matter, who hasn’t said “oh that’s ok it happened years ago” or “ I don’t care what people think of me” when that’s not true because we find ourselves going over in our heads something that happened when we were small or working on what we should have or could have said. We all carry things with us and if we haven’t learnt to REALLY let them go, when the subject comes up we may not know it but we react with the same emotion we did when it was said or done to us. If you can’t leave these feelings behind and dwell on them for a long period of time we suffer Dis – ease with ourselves and this is when our physical health can suffer.

Welcome to healing4u, I am hoping to not only promote my business but to answer a lot of the questions around Reiki and energy healing in general for you. As you can see from my first pic I do have a off to the left sense of humour but have found that is what gets me through the lows when they come along.
