Bowen Therapy can help with soreness, stiffness, recovery and keeping horses comfortable during competition.

JD 🧡

JD was once my horse, but these days he’s very much my children’s horse. He has the most beautiful nature and is incredibly gentle with them.

He’s also quite a vocal horse when something isn’t quite right. Over the years I’ve learned to notice the small behavioural changes. When he needs a treatment he can become a little harder to catch, and while I’m working on him he’ll often turn his head towards me as if to say “yes, that’s the spot.”

With the warmer weather he’s been a bit of a paddock ornament lately, so before bringing him back into work I gave him a small treatment.

When I went to put his bridle on he kept lifting his head and didn’t want it on. After doing a few TMJ ( Temporo Mandibular Joint) moves, he happily let me bridle him.
Sometimes our horses are loud with their signs, and sometimes they’re subtle. The key is learning to listen. Small changes in behaviour can often be your horse’s way of telling you something isn’t quite right.

🚀 With fuel prices like this, I’m starting to think horses might be the next big commodity.

No diesel required.
Runs on grass and good intentions.
Self-parking.
Can travel off-road.
And occasionally comes with attitude included at no extra cost.

At this rate, the price of a well-broke horse is about to skyrocket.

Forget electric cars… the future might just be horsepower again. 🐎⛽

Good news for horse trainers.
Bad news for anyone who thought horses were the expensive option.
