As a Young Living Brand Partner, I have swapped out my products to low tox (redirected my purchases to a one stop shop that has my health at their best interest) and one I keep reaching for lately is the mineral sunscreen. I love that it’s gentle, clean, and actually feels good on my skin (no heavy, sticky feeling).

It’s become a simple little swap in my routine that helps me enjoy the sunshine without overthinking it. If you’ve been looking for something more natural for summer, this has been a favorite.

Here’s to healthy skin, slow sunshine days, and products that support both.

We tend to believe healing requires huge life changes, but your body responds to the smallest shifts.

Little choices compound. Keep choosing them.

I came across this visual today... four ropes forming one direction... and it stopped me for a moment.

Because this is the part we rarely talk about:
Most careers or businesses don’t fall apart from lack of effort… they fall apart from misalignment.

You can be great at something but feel empty doing it.
You can love the work but struggle to make it sustainable.
You can meet a need but feel underpaid.
You can earn well but feel disconnected from your purpose.

Ikigai is a reminder that real fulfillment sits at the intersection... not in just one category, but in the overlap of all four:

✔️ What you’re good at
✔️ What you love
✔️ What the world needs
✔️ What you can get paid for

As we plan for 2026, maybe this is the mindset shift we need:

Not “How can I do more?”
But “How can I align better?”

Because growth isn’t always about adding tasks, chasing trends, or pushing harder.

Sometimes it’s about weaving these four threads slowly and intentionally until your work, values, and direction finally pull the same way.

If this year felt scattered or exhausting, that doesn’t mean you failed.

It just means the alignment work is beginning.

Purpose isn’t found overnight..
but piece by piece, it comes together.

Today I found myself dozing off in the hairdresser’s chair… mid-appointment… while getting my greys covered.

Postpartum depletion is real, and this new-mum exhaustion hits deep.

With a 6-month-old who’s crawling, teething, and breastfeeding, mama is running empty 🪫. There’s something about giving your body, your sleep, and your energy all day and all night that leaves you feeling both completely drained and fiercely devoted at the same time.

Recently I listened to Dr Libby Weaver’s podcast with Dr Oscar Serrallach, and the way they spoke about postpartum depletion, especially the discussion around iron, hit me hard. It made me stop and think.

Turns out my iron is low. According to the doctor it was “fine,” but my body told a different story. I’m so grateful for my naturopath, who picked it up and validated what I was feeling. Sometimes you really do have to advocate for yourself, even when you’re too tired to fight for the answers.

I’m tired in a way I didn’t even know existed. Yet every day, I’m expected to show up, because that’s what mothers do, right?

But here’s the truth I’m learning:

✨You can’t pour from an empty cup.
✨You can’t show up as your best self when you’re depleted to your core.

So today, even if it’s just sitting quietly while someone covers my greys, I’m claiming this small pocket of rest.

✨Because I deserve it.
✨Because ‘we’ deserve it.

To every tired, stretched-thin, mama out there, you’re doing an incredible job. And it’s okay to be exhausted. It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to seek a second opinion when you know something’s off.

We keep going, but we don’t have to do it on empty. 🪫💛

Our sense of smell is powerful 💫

Our Sense of Smell is Connected to our Emotions
The scent of freshly baked bread can drive us to buy or eat, while the scent of roses and lilies can coax us to love, show forgiveness or kindness. All of which can move us emotionally and physically in profound ways.

This is the power of aromatherapy. Many plants, trees and flowers are imbued with the natural ability to fight disease, heal wounds, and bolster certain physical mechanisms.
