•• Intermittent Fasting ••

🍃 What is it?
Should I adapt my dietary behaviours toward it?
Would it benefit my lifestyle?
Can I maintain a balanced lifestyle if I’m intermittent fasting?

• These are just some questions you need to ask yourself when thinking about partaking in intermittent fasting.
Intermittent fasting is where an individual partakes in an eating pattern of not consuming or consuming very little to no energy for a long period of time (avg 16hrs) with periods of intervention to consume normal food behaviours on a recurring basis.

🍃 The following slides discuss very briefly some points of benefits however, also some points of disadvantage toward partaking in intermittent fasting.

• Now I’m not saying it’s great or it’s not, I’m saying that it is key to understanding how it could benefit your life style, if it’s sustainable for your lifestyle or if it just wouldn’t work for you at all.

🍃 Over the Easter break I was fortunate to spend time with my grandparents in Port Macquarie, NSW

I cherish the time I get to spend with them, whether we are on an out having coffee, a trip to Bunnings or just reading on the couch together

It’s was so special to see them, and that they live in such a gorgeous place of Australia

🍃 There are particular nutrients we need to focus once you’ve given birth to ensure safe health for yourself and if you are breastfeeding your child.

** Please note if you are not breast feeding that is 100% normal and fine! There are other ways of getting nutrients to your child through formula feeding 💕
