Every year, there’s a moment that gets me. 🤍

It’s not the decorations, or the speeches, or even the final fundraising total …..
although that one comes close.

It’s the moment the room fills up.

When I look out and see faces I recognise
patients, friends, local business owners, community members -
all dressed up and ready to give.

That moment reminds me exactly why we started ToxTails. And it’s why we keep going.

This stunning piece is titled Sisterhood and Loi describes it beautifully herself:

“This artwork reflects sisterhood, signifying strong bonds, solidarity and kinship between Sistas. Women connecting, embracing self-discovery - this brings confidence, wisdom and identity.”

Loi is a proud Wiradjuri woman from Wellington, Central West NSW, Binjang Country, with traditional bloodlines connecting to the Warramunga people.

She has generously donated this piece to raise money for and its beautiful oak frame has been donated by

I used to love him in Dawsons Creek.

How many more young people we will lose to bowel cancer.

Bowel cancer affects people of all ages. Being married to a gastroenterologist I have seen this first hand too many times in our community.

What if I told you something is on the horizon to help prevent bowel cancer? What if I told you to watch this space….
