This week, Emma Bear was treated to a spa day.

She met Emma and Skye at Pirie Laundry. They knew I was a little nervous.
So they talked to me, reassured me I'd be ok and showed me around, explained what I'd experience.
They also read to me, cuddled me, and showered me with love. I was safe. 🩷🤍🩷

This book is such a beautiful reminder that play isn’t something we add in with children . It t’s the way they communicate, process, heal, and grow.

As a play therapist, reading this feels like coming home to the heart of the work:
✨ slowing down
✨ trusting the child’s lead
✨ and honouring play as deeply meaningful, not “just play”

Always grateful for resources that gently reaffirm why child-centred, relationship-based play matters so much. 🤍
