This week, two of our participants had an incredible experience volunteering at the Hamilton Wildlife Shelter -Victoria Australia 🦜🦘🐍

They jumped right in; cleaning and resetting enclosures, learning about the animals in care, and even helping with feeding.
They asked lots of great questions and gained valuable insight into native animal welfare and rehabilitation.🧡

We were lucky enough to receive some prize money from Greyhound Racing Victoria - GRV The Great Chase in Warrnambool! 🎉

With those funds, we connected with the amazing team at Portland Compleat Angler who generously offered us a huge discount on fishing rods and gear. 🎣

Our participants have already been putting the new equipment to great use, as you can see in the photos from our men’s and ladies’ night groups. With the warmer weather on the way, we’re sure the gear will continue to be well loved! ☀️💛

Glenelg Shire Council and Kyeema Support Services, Portland. are inviting the community to come along and take part in a day of connection, inclusion and fun.
