Today we got into the festive spirit with help from some of our amazing crew who set up our Christmas tree. There were big smiles, lots of laughs and plenty of sparkly decorations flying around!

With one team out serving The Christmas Party Canberra, we also had a team cooking up delicious wood-fired pizzas for the Embracing Ministries Christmas gathering.🍕🎄

Events like this are some of our favourites — great food, big smiles and a chance for our crew to show off their skills while being part of a much-loved school community tradition.

Massive shout-out to our team bringing the heat (literally!) and spreading plenty of festive cheer. You’re making today extra special for a whole lot of excited kids and families. ❤️

Our team has been in full Christmas mode this week, baking and decorating more than 1,500 sweet treats for little legends attending The Christmas Party Canberra. 🎄✨

And today, some of our crew are out there serving those treats with big smiles, bigger hearts and the kind of holiday spirit you just can’t fake.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do — creating opportunities, building confidence and being part of something that brings joy to our community. ❤️

We recently established a partnership with Toora Women, delivering cooking classes for women in their Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) program.

This week, before hitting the kitchen, we rolled up our sleeves and planted a small vegetable garden together. What seemed like a simple activity quickly turned into a powerful moment — a conversation about food security, self-sufficiency, wellbeing and the confidence that comes from creating something with your own hands.

For many of the women in this program, rebuilding life starts with small, steady wins. Being part of that journey — teaching practical cooking skills, growing fresh produce and creating a supportive space to reconnect with capability — is exactly why EDG exists.

Partnerships like this matter. They create opportunities, build community and remind us that meaningful change often begins in the smallest patches of soil.

Proud of our team, grateful to TOORA, and inspired by the women who show up every week ready to grow — in every sense of the word.
