๐ Historic First Match for ACT Blind & Low Vision!
Today marked a huge milestone as the ACT Blind & Low Vision team took the field as a standalone squad for the very first time at the National Cricket Inclusion Championships!
Batting first, ACT posted a competitive 9/150 from 20 overs, with Jespah Soegeng leading the way with a composed 33 runs, supported by Cameron Roles and Daniel Searle with quick contributions.
While NSW chased strongly to claim the win, this game was all about ACT making history and showing incredible spirit, teamwork, and determination. ๐
This is just the beginning for our ACT team, and we couldnโt be prouder of their effort and the way they represented the territory. ๐๐
โจ Onwards and upwards โ the best is yet to come!

A bright, sunny cricket ground forms the background, with two Cricket ACT players standing arm-in-arm in the foreground, smiling at the camera. Toby is on the left and Dan is on the right. Both are wearing blue Cricket ACT playing shirts and caps. Dan is wearing black wraparound vision-impairment goggles and wicketkeeping gloves, while Toby is wearing glasses. Behind them, a green oval stretches out with cones set up and a group of players training in the distance.
Overlaid across the image is a bold blue and yellow graphic displaying match information for Game 1. The score shows Cricket ACT 9/150 (20 overs) and Cricket NSW 0/152 (13.5 overs). Batting highlights are listed: for Cricket ACT, Jespah Seoseng 33 and Cameron Roles 18; for Cricket NSW, Michael Leigh 41* and Oscar Stubbs 94*.
Logos appear around the graphic, including Cricket ACT on the left, Cricket NSW on the right, and supporting organisations along the bottom such as Lords Taverners Australia, Empower Living, and Embrace. The overall design uses strong contrast and clear typography to present the match result and celebrate inclusive cricket.
