We are loving the new look of our Baby Boutique!

Come in for a browse and find some beautiful pre-loved baby clothes for your little one, currently in stock prem to size 1. We also love receiving donations of good quality, gently used clothes your baby no longer needs. Open Wednesday 22nd April from 930am to 12pm, 12/251 Crawford St (opposite Headspace).

A huge congratulations to 'In Remembrance' - the first 2026 Queanbeyan Pramathon team to reach $500 and have their donations matched with another $500 thanks to Event Sponsor Pavements Australia.

This is an extra special team because they are walking to remember all the babies that have been lost before birth or soon after, and the Mums we grieve with who have empty arms and empty prams. All Mums are welcome at the Pramathon and we especially recognise those of you who have lost your little one.

All money raised goes directly to supporting Mums and Bubs in need in the local Canberra and Queanbeyan region through the work of First Steps Pregnancy Support. And every $100 raised will give your team 2 tickets in our exclusive Mother's Day Raffle!!

A huge thank you to the Braidwood vs Bungendore Charity Golf Day organisers and the Braidwood Servicemens Club who provided the most beautiful venue. Last Sunday was the inaugural event for what is set to become an annual tournament. We are so thrilled to have been chosen as the Bungendore team's charity of choice for the years to come, with $415 being raised this year for First Steps Pregnancy Support this time around. Congratulations to Braidwood who were the victors for the 2026 Cup!

We are so grateful to have been chosen as the charity of choice for the Bungendore team in this year’s Bungendore vs Braidwood Golf Cup.

Thank you for thinking of and supporting the work of First Steps Pregnancy Support, it truly means so much to the mums and families we walk alongside each day.

We’re looking forward to what promises to be a wonderful day of community, connection, and generosity this Sunday.

Abby is our playgroup coordinator. She runs our weekly playgroup, creating a welcoming space where little ones can explore, learn and play, while mums have the chance to connect, chat and support one another. It’s a relaxed and friendly time, open to any mum who would like to come along 🩷

Abby shared this about her experience:
“I love getting to know women who are at a similar life stage to me, but are still different to me, be it culturally, their hobbies, the way they are raising their children, etc.
I love encouraging other women in this motherhood journey that can be so difficult at times yet is always so rewarding.”

Sparrow and Lily Baby Boutique is an initiative of First Steps Pregnancy Support and is only open to the public once a week (usually Wednesday mornings), with all funds raised supporting our work caring for local Mums and babies in need.

Maree is one of the friendly faces who welcomes mums into First Steps, whether they’re visiting for an appointment, dropping in, or popping by the Baby Boutique. She helps create a calm and caring environment where every mum feels seen, supported and comfortable.
