I offer a range of wellbeing, self care & career support. This includes Social Work Clinical Supervision, Career Coaching & Mentoring. Yoga for relaxation & improved mood, meditation & mindfulness to support the management of stress, anxiety, sleeplessness & self-care. I specialise in Self-Care & prioritising wellbeing & yourself. I work from an evidence base & intuitive wisdom to provide individual, person centred approaches. One size definitely does not fit all. I am a lover of philosophy, spiritual wisdom, creativity & curiosity. I have a teenage footballer daughter, a crafty & unique husband & 2 perfect pooches at home which feature often on this page. There has been some tipping upside down of my life this year, somethings inevitable, others I don’t see coming. The inevitable I accepted, worked through & processed in the way I always do, often without ‘help’ or outside knowledge. It’s how I do things, but I felt held & lived & strong for the relationships I have in my life regardless of whether these humans knew what was happening for me I used that strength & will.

As for the stuff I didn’t see coming but really want to embrace & focus on for 2026. I will lean in to what feels good, I will stop protecting others, putting myself last on the list & ignoring my dreams & wishes. I will protect my peace & that of those I am connected with, I will not persist in spaces I am not appreciated & I will be clear & articulate moving ahead if it kills me ❤️

Summer & holiday mode is now engaged. Thanks so much for such a wonderful year, all my students & clients who have given me purpose & direction, my friends who have held me up & walked beside me with love & solidarity. I am a very grateful woman & one that does not plan on taking anything for granted in 2026 ❤️

I hope you get some quality time w people who fill your bucket, some rest & intentional time to relax, even if it’s a few minutes a day it ALL matters folks.

Goodness me!! What a morning. It perhaps might be a little silly for this middle aged woman to be swooning over a band & an album but THIS band & THIS album have been a saving grace, a salve of you will & so meaningful & well timed!

I walked in the pi***ng rain to the festival today so I didn’t bring my record BUT managed to get a t-shirt instead & a photo & a signature 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Here’s o new practices. How do you limit social media, doom scrolling & wasting time?

Relaxation & productive rest are very different to wasting time. Relaxation & eat are actively contributing positively to your wellbeing, the self care domains of emotional, psychological, spiritual & physical self care.

I have been using a friends brick while in the NT & today I have left the house without it so I am completely blocked 22 hours & counting. This isn’t is made from a professional app that I cannot use to scroll or check messages only post in real time so once I have done this I will log off again completely.

Being a Sunday I wanted to show you this on what is perhaps a good day (the only day) you might be able to carve out some time. What will you do to actively rest & relax today? How will you limit barriers & distractions?

Why, Alison? Why?

It occurred to me while writing an instagram post that perhaps I needed to consider a different way of sharing. Now I know that many people LOVE instagram (myself included) but its not as connected as facebook it seems? I didn’t want to be bombarding my family & friends without them having a choice to jump on board or quietly not participate.

This page will give me the space to write about & post things that are interesting, important & aligned with my values & my future. This page gives people choice & thats what life is all about right?
