Paddy’s beloved grandchildren were involved in many ways in his funeral service. Their participation reminds us that grief isn’t something we protect children from…it’s something we walk through together. They knew their grandad’s laugh, his stories, his love. Of course they belonged in his farewell.
They know first hand that honoring someone we love is a privilege, not a burden.☘️

Finally managed to get to Mullum for the Natural Death Care Centre’s Day of the Dead Ceremony.

Having a loose plan for people who may need additional supports in the lead up to and during a funeral service is a good idea. ✨ please let your funeral providers know so we can support you all in the best way possible.

A rich & satisfying way to spend a morning thanks to libraries team.
You know I’ll talk about death, dying & grief until I’m blue in the face, so I’m excited that 80 people in the community were keen & receptive and open to the chats.
