This year we looked at the various ways we can 'meet people where they are' with our communication, because Health Literacy is about much more than just the language we use. In the short clip below, Enoka explains how they approach tailoring health information at Jean Hailes.

Thanks again to presenters Caroline Livanos, Enoka De Jacolyn, and Andrea Gaddie for delivering an informative and insightful webinar that highlighted the importance of looking at the bigger picture with our communication.

October is World Menopause Month.

Menopause is a natural part of life, but it’s different for everyone who experiences it. While some feel few changes, others may face challenges that impact their health, sleep, mood, and daily life.

In many communities, menopause can still feel like a taboo topic, making it harder for women and their families to find the support they need. That’s why the Health Translations Library provides free, multilingual resources, ensuring women from all backgrounds can access trusted, practical advice on menopause and women's health.

Let’s break the silence, empower women with the knowledge and care they deserve.
