We keep hearing the same three questions about Thriving Kids - and they’re valid.

Not everything is changing.
Not everything is settled.
And pretending otherwise helps no one.

If you’re feeling unsure, confused, or just cautious - that reaction makes sense.

There’s a lot being said about Thriving Kids right now and not all of it is grounded in facts.

This reel isn’t here to scare families or sell certainty that doesn’t exist.
It’s here to explain what we know, what’s still unclear, and why people are feeling uneasy.

Thriving Kids is a major systems shift.
How it’s implemented will matter far more than how it was announced.

If you’re a parent, provider, or carer trying to make sense of it all, you’re not alone.

👉 Follow along as we break down the top three questions families are asking next.

No fear. No spin. Just clarity.

If you’ve ever wondered…
“What if I spend my funding wrong?”
“Am I allowed to change providers?”
“Why does this feel so overwhelming?”

You’re not alone.

The NDIS is complex - struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It means you’re human.

Save this for the days it feels like too much.

The NDIS has so many roles… and no one really explains them in plain English.
LAC.
NDIA.
Plan Manager.
Support Coordinator.

So here’s the simple version:
Who works for you, who works for the system, and who helps you navigate it all.
You’re allowed to ask.
You’re allowed to understand your own plan.
Follow AAC for Part 3 - the questions people are scared to ask.

NDIS language can feel like a different language.
“Reasonable and necessary.”
“Core.”
“Capacity building.”
It’s a lot - and it’s okay if it feels confusing.

This is your reminder:
You don’t need the perfect words.
You just need your real life.
We’re here to translate it, gently.
Save this for later 💛

The NDIS isn’t about fitting into a system.
It’s about building support around your life.
Your plan should reflect who you are now - and where you want to go next.

You may have noticed our colours and logo shifting over the past few weeks.

That wasn’t a rebrand.
It was us taking the time to explore, refine, and make sure how we show up visually reflects who we are in practice.

Same care.
Same standards.
Same commitment.

Just a clearer expression of what’s always mattered.

One belief we hold as a support coordinator is this:

Our role isn’t to simply connect services.
It’s to understand the person first,
their goals, their pace, their capacity, and what actually works for them.

Support coordination shouldn’t feel rushed, clinical, or transactional.
It should feel considered.

We take the time to think ahead,
to ask better questions,
and to design support that fits into real life, not just into a plan.

This belief shapes how we advocate,
how we communicate,
and how we support long-term outcomes, quietly, consistently, and with care.
