Horses are generally happier in cooler weather and their bodies cope better with lower temperature than heat. This obviously presents a problem in Australia and other countries where temperatures can soar in summer.

I have had amazing results on my boy with the TuffRock Joint Formulae. He has gone from being lame, to perfectly even and winning in the dressage arena.

Sydney Equestrian Supplies hosted an evening about new products where I was introduced to TuffRock. At first we had difficulty believing that just by using good feed and TuffRock Conditioner our horses could have fantastic coats and perform better.

It’s true, even after clipping for show purposes their coat condition is fantastic and we found that their overall wellbeing is great. Mares that used to be nervous at shows in led class and under saddle are definitely much better than previous shows.

We have since tried the Poultice as well; it works miracles on swollen legs, down within a day, great for cuts and also worked well on allergic reactions. We are very happy with TuffRock.

These diagrams show correct and incorrect placement of the tree of a saddle on the horse. The solid structure or fork of the tree needs to sit comfortably behind the scapular to allow for free movement of the shoulder, and encourage and muscular development. If the tree is placed too far forward and sits on the scapular it can impede shoulder movement and have an unbalancing effect on the saddle.
