'Celebrating One Year of Romsey Community Aged Care!'

The 31st of March marks one whole year since the grand opening of Romsey Community Aged Care - and wow, what an afternoon we had celebrating! 🥳

Our beautiful community of residents, their families, and our amazing staff came together to reflect on our achievements over the past year and the friendships that have blossomed along the way. It was so lovely seeing everyone out in the sunshine, enjoying out stunning gardens, sharing delicious food and drinks, and singing and dancing along with the entertainment.

The love, care, and strong sense of community we've created in our home is a true testament to the wonderful residents who call Romsey Community Aged Care home, and to the dedicated staff who are privileged to work in their home every day.

We look forward to many more years of connection, joy and community 💕

After ending our first New Year at Romsey Community Aged care we are creating a time capsule, with special notes, messages and other treasures to be retrieved in years to come.

Big thank you to Border Security for bringing their Labrador pups to share puppy love in our msu unit , look at all the joy puppies give. Looking forward to our next visit .

It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas 🎄.

Market day was a huge success with lots of fabulous stalls to choose from. Our talented resident artist donated his painting for the raffle along with lots of other prizes too. There was free gift wrapping 🎁 which was very popular .Thank you to all that attended, it was great to see so many smiling faces.

Our Remembrance Day service held by Romsey Lancefield RSL. Thank you for the wonderful job they did.

Today we did a little science project with mentos lollies and coke. When you open a bottle of coke and drop a mentos in. What happens then ? well it erupts. After a few goes we decide not to waste any more mentos and to eat them instead 😄
