Is acupuncture painful? 😯

We can understand why a common misconception with acupuncture is that it’s painful. Honestly, hundreds of needles poked into your face and body does sound pretty horrible.

Acupuncture, however, is quite the contrary. This treatment relieves pain and restores your bodies natural balance. We insert extremely fine, single-use needles into the skin at specific “acupoints” to trigger the release of endorphins, the body’s natural pain-killing chemicals.

Whilst some may feel a dull ache that lasts a millisecond around the needle, the majority of people don’t feel a thing. And once all the needles are in, you get to lie back, close your eyes and enjoy the bliss of the Acu-nap 😍
