Meet Your First Choice Chiropractic Team ✨

Em! 🥰
Springfield Clinic
Chiropractic Assistant

Emma has been a part of the First Choice Chiropractic Team for just over a year now! Time flies when you're having fun 😉

With a long-standing passion for healthcare, Em originally spent several years in pharmacy before discovering that chiropractic aligned more closely with her values, which is helping people correct and maintain their health, not just manage pain.

One of Em's favourite parts of the role is connecting with patients.

From meaningful chats to hearing about the incredible lives people lead, no two days are ever the same.

Outside the clinic, life is kept pretty simple, caring for her dog Burrito, getting lost in manga and most recently, taking up boxing 🥊

And if you’ve spotted Em in the clinic already, you’ll know why patients have lovingly dubbed her “the colourful one”

With ever-changing bold hair colours and combinations, Em certainly keep things fun and unpredictable ✨🎨

We are extremely grateful to have Em as part of our team!

PART FIVE: 2026 Ins & Outs – Dr Dylan (Chiropractor) 🚶‍♂️🌅

Part 5 👇

IN: Regular walks (especially outdoors) ☀️

Walking is commonly discussed in health and wellbeing research in relation to movement, cardiovascular health, and daily routines. Time spent walking outdoors and being exposed to natural light is often explored in research connected to circadian rhythms, which may help regulate patterns such as sleep–wake cycles and other daily physiological processes.

This also ties back to earlier themes in the series, including spending time in nature and everyday lifestyle factors associated with general wellbeing. 🩵

PART FOUR: 2026 Ins & Outs – Dr Dylan (Chiropractor) 😮‍💨🧠

If you’re still catching up on Dylan’s 2026 ins & outs (yes, it really is worth watching the full video), welcome to Part 4 of the mini-series. ⏱️👏

Part 4 👇

IN: Vagus nerve awareness

The vagus nerve is a cranial nerve that connects the brain with various organs, including the gut. It’s commonly discussed in neuroscience in relation to the parasympathetic nervous system; often described as the body’s “rest and digest” state, and its role in regulating physiological responses to stress.

Practices such as slow, controlled breathing are frequently explored in research in relation to vagal activity and nervous system regulation!

In the lead-up to a new school year, many families start thinking about routines again and lunchboxes are a big part of that. For younger kids especially, healthy foods that look colourful, familiar and appealing are more likely to be eaten during busy school days. 😋🍎

With so many fun-looking, packaged foods around, it’s not always easy for whole, nutritious options to compete for attention. Mixing up colours, shapes and textures can help healthy foods feel just as exciting and enjoyable. 🍌🙌

When kids are eating a range of healthy foods regularly through the day, it may help support steady energy, focus and movement as they learn, play and grow. Small habits like planning a bit of lunchbox variety can quietly support overall wellbeing. 🥰

At First Choice Chiropractic, we believe in encouraging simple wellbeing habits that work for everyday family life. Back-to-school season is a great time to gently reset habits and support healthy choices in a fun and achievable way. 🩵
