A breech baby is often seen when the body has Yang Qi deficiency, the uterus is cold and baby doesn’t have enough energy to shift into the ‘normal’ position.
So what is Moxibustion?
Moxibustion is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We use compressed Mugwort which contains many bioactive essential oils such as cineol, camphor, borneol, and thujone. When heated, these components are absorbed through the skin via heat, creating anti-inflammatory, analgesic, meridian-clearing, and swelling-reducing effects. In turn we are using heat to stimulate and activate yang energy, thereby promoting the flow of Qi, clearing energy blockages and blood in the meridians.
Why Mugwort?
Mugwort, when burned produces both near and far infrared heat which is more readily absorbed by the skin and is a warm, non-drying heat which makes it ‘heat carrying medicinal properties’
Why not a heat lamp?
Moxibustion allows us to treat a specific point where an infrared lamp has a wide heating area.
Moxibustion is irreplaceable and a great alternative to the modern day ECV!

Birth assist oil for a future mama! Don’t expect the oils to smell strongly of essential oils, of they do…BEWARE…! They’ll have far too much essential oil in them which can be dangerously to you and your baby. I’m a qualified Aromatherapist and really careful in what I put in my blends. They worked for me!
