Thanks to everyone who came from far and near to Qigong in the Park this morning.🙏

It was beautiful to continue our practice of the Guigen Qigong- the 5 elements.

And perfect to focus on the Fire element in this heat.

I never seem to get pics of the group! Too much in the flow 😇

So here's a few pics from my early morning beach walk. And look what presented itself...a snake- perfect start to the Chinese New Year:

The Year of the Wood Snake began on January 29, 2025 and will end on February 16, 2026.

The snake is the sixth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac.

Symbolism

The snake symbolises mystery, complexity, transformation, and initiation

The wood element makes the snake seductive, creative, and ruthless

The snake is also a powerful totem of healing and personal evolution

And it's a wrap for 2024!

Our last Qigong in the Park session for the year (with supervising pooch Maggie) on a balmy day in Scotts Head.

Followed by a special Xmas brunch at at just delicious. 🤩

Thankyou to everyone who's come along this year to enjoy a relaxing Qigong practice by the beach to support your health and wellbeing and nourish your soul. 😇

I look forward to seeing you in 2025 🙏🙏🙏

A glorious morning for Qigong in the Park despite the howling Northerlies.

Perfect timing to practice the Wood element from the Guigen Qigong form to balance the Qi.

Always a beautiful coming together, some new faces, a well-behaved pooch, and a nice cuppa afterwards. Bliss 🙏

And I got to wear my Tai Chi Qigong panda t-shirt from China. Just because I could. It taps into the inner 12 year old. Never too old to play!! 😇

❣️Qigong in the Park- 3 November 2024❣️

In TCM, Spring and windy weather relate to the Wood element, the liver and gallbladder organs, and the colour green. They can also relate to anger and frustration, so what better way to stay in balance than practising some Qigong!

How wonderful to share some Qigong in a mini-workshop at the Community Wellness Expo on the weekend.

These pics were taken early on, but it was a lovely mixed group, and they even applauded me at the end!

Good grief, I’ve never been received in such a way, but it’s been a great lesson to just RECEIVE.

However I did receive a divine bodywork session, made some perfect connections, and ate a delicious raw mulberry sweet treat. Mmmm.

Thanks to everyone who came along, the stallholders, speakers, organisers and everyone who contributed.

Feeling blessed ☺️ 😇🙏
