Just another day at the Hang Pad celebrating Ebony’s 17th birthday — watching test match cricket, smashing snags in bread, and topping it all off with chocolate cake.

Honestly, if life gets any better than this, I’ll need a warning label. 🎉🏏🌭🍰

Out and about with Matt today — we cruised down to Victor Harbor and made a very important pit stop at Pick a Pie in Meadows.

Honestly, I’m convinced they have one of the best bakery selections in Australia. The food’s always spot-on, the service is top-notch, and there’s always a crowd of happy people proving we’re not the only ones who think so!

We just helped showcase the fact that it’s really that good… and yes, we may have taste-tested more than we needed to. 😄🥧

Our second-last indoor cricket match was an absolute blast tonight! Everyone was switched on, swinging hard, diving around, and giving it their all. The game ended in a 134–134 draw — so, as usual, no winners, no losers… just a bunch of champions who know how to have a ball! 🏏😄

Huge thank you to everyone who comes out each week — the players, the sideline legends, and the supporters who cheer loud enough to rattle the nets. You all knock it out of the park (well… out of the net)!

Can’t wait for the next one! 🏏🔥

Big cheers to Hawks for inviting us up to his family shack for his birthday!
And a massive shout-out to his mum Kelly and dad David for giving us an absolute pearler of a time on the river.

Can’t believe we squeezed so much fun into just 24 hours — pretty sure everyone who came will be telling stories about this trip for years.

Happy birthday, Hawks! Thanks for the memories, the laughs, and probably a few sore muscles from all the chaos. 🎉🚤😄

Love seeing our little community come together to celebrate a birthday. Everyone gets along so well, and it’s awesome watching friendships grow and good times pile up. Amazing what a birthday cake and a special day can do — brings out everyone’s sweetest side. 🎉😄

Got the young crew up at the river celebrating Hawks’s birthday — good food, great company, and top-notch hospitality. Shame the weather’s acting like it forgot to RSVP. 🌧️

Fingers crossed for some sunshine tomorrow so we can actually sea the river before we jump in it. I’ll splash out another post then. 😄🌞🛶

Went down today to meet Anton De Pasquale and David Reynolds from the Trudy Energy Drink team and the DEWALT Racing team. Both were incredibly generous with their time, and we met a few wonderful people while we were there. Had a great chat all round!

📣 Holiday Leave Announcement

Hey everyone! Just a heads-up that I’ll be on holiday leave from 10 December to 10 January — only about two and a half weeks away! 🎉😎

If you normally have regular sessions with me, they’ll be paused during this time. Sadly, I don’t have anyone to fill the rather large gap I leave behind… 😂 (I know, tragic.)

Indoor cricket has only two weeks left 🏏, and then I’ll be kicking off a much-needed break with my beautiful family ❤️, enjoying Christmas and New Year celebrations 🎄✨, and heading off on a honeymoon to Sydney — PLUS the Lady Gaga concert! 🎶🕺

If you’re feeling a little jealous… well… you probably should be. 😉

🎄 Holiday Break Announcement! 🎅✨

Hey everyone!
Just a heads-up that Luke’s holidays are from 10 December to 10 January — taking a well-earned four-week break over Christmas and New Year… and heading off on my honeymoon! Woo hoo! 💍✈️😎

During this time there’ll be no one-on-one sessions, no group sessions, no socials, and no indoor cricket — basically nothing is happening except me switching off and pretending I don’t know what emails are. 📵😂

If you’re one of those “calendar people,” chuck it in now so you don’t rock up to an empty session. 📅😉
For my one-on-one and group clients, I’ll make sure the right people get messaged and emailed before the break.

Can’t wait for a bit of Christmas chill time! It’s been an amazing year with so much achieved at My Mates Place — feels like we’re building something really special in our community. ❤️💙✨
