Seymour Men’s Shed The basic premise of each Men’s Shed is to provide a local, informal location where men of a community can spend time engaged in manual crafts.

A Men’s Shed plays an important role in the prevention of social isolation and the promotion of positive health and wellbeing amongst men, as well as enabling men to positively (re)connect with their community. The shed is also a place for these men to be socially active and form friendships. The shed environment is positive and encouraging, no matter what a man’s ability, and there is a strong focus on learning new skills, encouraging all members and working together.
