This morning, I walked with my community & colleagues from Illawarra Women's Health Centre along the Windang Bridge, in our bright and beautiful orange, as part of the 16 days of Activism - to end violence against women and children.

This is an issue that we all need to come together to fight. I want all women and children to feel safe.

Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

This needs to stop.

We cannot keep letting women and children lose their lives in this way.

Wollongong will be lighting up Orange over the next few days to raise awareness and to kick off the 16 days of Activism against Violence.
