𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙧 𝙥𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙩?
If you asked yourself this question, what would be your answer?
Are you surprised?
Turning 4 0 made me ask myself this question and my answer made me stop in my tracks fast!
Being a Mum (and a Mum with additional needs children) definitely took its toll on my health, both physically and mentally.
I realised that as much as I felt like I was doing my best at the time, I was just going through the daily motions.
I wasn't filling my own cup.
I see so many women doing everything they can for everyone else but in the process loosing themselves.
They loose all sense of self worth.
They loose their identity.
They forget what they did for fun or what hobbies they enjoyed.
They feel guilty when they take a moment to breathe.
They juggle work around kids, sometimes only to pay for childcare fees.
They carry the mental load daily on their shoulders.
And...at the end of an era they are broken.
They have spent all their time being the passenger on lifes journey.
They feel sad,
They feel regret,
They feel empty.
Mum's you are worthy and deserving.
Mum's you can choose to fill your own cup.
Mum's you are powerful.
Be the pilot,
Fill your own cup first,
See the opportunities,
Block out negative energy,
Empower yourself.
Then you can give the most to those you love around you💕
